So I saw this meme on pintrest where it said to grab the first book nearest you and the first sentence on page 260 describes your love life.
I grabbed Darkness of Dragons and flipped to page 206 and this is what I got.
"Qibli felt his heart jumping nervously as she lifted it and affixed it to her ear."
What?
So I asked my sister, Heavenwings2891 to try it and she grabbed The Throne of Fire and got this.
"The waiter's eyes widened."
We decided to go through the books on our shelves and find the best ones.
Some were hilarious and made no sense and some actually seemed to describe a love life. Here's a list.
"For all find what they truly seek." (The Last Battle)
"And your father - obnoxious man - extraordinarily obnoxious." (The Cursed Child)
"Eh?" (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe)
"What - what are you doing?" (The Goblet of Fire)
"Harry hesitated." (The Chamber of Secrets)
"'Hey," he called, 'Come back!'" (The Brightest Night)
"She got married young to get away." (The Prisoner of Cell 25)
"Jess observed that it was the contrast between slaving under a tyrant and voluntary cooperation that arose from determination and good fellowship." (Redwall)
"'You cut the rope!' Annabeth said, "We're going to die down here!" (The Blood of Olympus)
"Newel began uncomfortably, 'This is a bad week for us.'" (Fablehaven)
"They all digested this ugly revelation in silence." (The Healers)
"An explosion, a tidal wave, a whirlwind of power simultaneously catching me up and blasting me downward into the lava." (The Battle of the Labyrinth)
"My life didn't magically turn perfect after that." (Smile)
"Did you say bride?" (The Sea of Monsters)
That last one though 😂
Comment any more that you think are really good.
Also here's a picture of my new markers.
