So I saw the PMV above and it made me start thinking about Chameleon.
So he apparently had a snout deformity that makes it so he can't sleep, so he can't change the colors of his scales. I'm guessing the deformity makes it so he can't breathe properly or something, so it wakes him up. So does this mean the rainwing's camouflage abilities are powered by sleep? And that a rainwing's original color is green?
I'm thinking too hard about this. I decided to try to draw him.

I tried to make his snout look deformed. I drew a normal rainwing at the bottom to show the difference. I also added dark shadows under his eyes because he's an insomniac.
I had an idea about how the two continents could be connected through evolution and all that, and Chameleon have me the idea. I have a very nerdy way of thinking, so if course I did that XD.
So the sun makes rainwing's scales more vibrant, as if they're being charged up right? And according to Chameleon a rainwing's original color is green. Leafwings are green, and they get energy from the sun. Idk maybe rainwings and Leafwings are distantly related. Just a thought.

It's Chameleon in all his forms at once. Cirrus, Shapeshifter, Soar, and Bog I think? I can't remember the Mudwing name.
I really like this because it's a half decent front view, which I normally can't do.
I wonder what would happen if Chameleon put on all the items that change him to his different forms at once? Would they all fight each other to be the dominant form? Would he be a weird hodgepodge like this? Idk, cool concept to think about tho.
