Because why would you do the actual art of your actual project when you can mess around instead?
The project in working on is lame anyway.
So one of the techniques we have to do is the *airquotes* splatter technique. We basically dip a toothbrush in watercolor paint and use our dumb to flick watercolor on the paper.
So I was doing that, but then I noticed how much it looked like blood so I went nuts all over my scrap paper.

I got concerned looks from the people working around me because of the murder scene in my desk and the probably slightly deranged look on my face as I sprayed blood *cough* I mean paint all over.
It even looked like I murdered something.

I decided to leave my hand like that for the rest of the day. No I did not care about the concerned looks I got. No not at all.
I also tried doing something else with my blood colored paint, but it didn't look as cool.

So yeah. I think it looks cool.
So I kind of finished my project last class (it needed to dry before I could do more) and we were going to do landscapes next, so I mixed up all the leftover paint in my pallet into one color and painted this.

I did mix a new color do the sky tho, and added more black gradually. It sucks. I don't know how to landscape. In my defense this took less than two minutes.
So yep.
The blood thing was a lot of fun 😅
Writer artists are almost worse than writers because they can draw the angst that they love to dish out.
