this story should be pretty funny and happy for the most part, but it does have a few dark parts.
warning: this story has some pretty bad language, anxiety attacks, drugs, and mild sexual content!! basically it's just sex, drugs, and rock n' roll. if i'm a good enough writer, some parts will make you come close to crying and maybe some will even do it. keep your ice cream at hand. there's a lil bit of cliche, but i try and spin it and make it a little bit different (hopefully!).
even though this book is a comedy, there are some chapters that aren't as funny, simply because they have a theme of mental illness and I want to make sure that everything in this book is respectful. the protagonist deals with anxiety and moderate depression throughout the book, so that is a bit of a trigger warning, though she is generally pretty bubbly and happy for majority of the chapters, so don't let that discourage you.
i love ya'll for reading this, so without further ado

"There's some dark shit in there, worse than we thought." He speaks coolly until the last word, where his voice turns into a whisper. His facade is breaking, the painted on mask is chipping. I've never seen someone as vulnerable as he does before me, right this minute.
I wrap my arms around him and he buries his face in my neck. I move circles with my palm on his back, feeling my own breaths become a little shallow. I can hear his heart racing in his chest, the beat only speeding up. Everything smells like him, musk and lemongrass, with a hint of pot coming from his jacket.

Liam takes a seat next to me and raises his eyebrows. "I don't know, because you're head over heels for that asshole and you're too fucking scared to admit your feelings. It's like watching some fucking teen drama and I don't like sitting idly by while you stare at him from afar."
I laugh lightly. "You know he doesn't like me back, right?" I say, as he takes one of my skittles. "And those are mine."
"Since when do you stand up for yourself?" He asks, grabbing another skittle. I did not offer this little scumbag my pieces of sugar heaven, and here he is, taking them. Nobody takes my freaking Skittles and gets away with it.
I huff. "When it comes to my freaking candy." I retorted, scooting the bag away from him. "And I didn't ask you to get involved in this. We're not friends."
"I know. I'm just forced to spend six hours a week with you and I'd rather you focus on math in that time than the class president's dick. Don't think that I actually like you as a person." He states, bluntly.
