"THIS MAY BE THE MOST ROMANTIC THING I'VE EVER DONE, so please tell me if you hate it." Liam says. He's pulled a blindfold over my eyes, obscuring my vision so I have no idea where the heck we are. His arm is wrapped around my waist to keep me stable, but I would want it there either way.
I stumble forward a little, hitting what appears to be a stair. Another one of Liam's arms appears to take hold of my waist, catching me mid fall. "Be careful! Watch where you're going." He says, pulling me close to him as a little bit of snow hits my face. All I know is that I'm outside, and that there are stairs.
"If you haven't noticed, I can't watch where I'm going. Blindfold, remember?" I say, sarcastically.
Liam laughs and returns to his original position. "Okay, follow me. It's two stairs up." He and I walk in unison, slow, up in tall steps. When I reach the top, he lets leaves for a second and I hear the opening of a door.
His hands return, and we're inside of somewhere big. I can hear my footsteps echo through the room, and I can smell something savory in the air. I have to think about what it is, but I'm not quite sure. The room is quiet, there's no sound except for what comes from Liam and I.
"There's some more stairs, hold on babe, the railing is to your right." I feel around with my hand for a couple of seconds. I try to move up, then down, but I'm unable to find it.
Liam laughs. "Do you want help?" He asks. I can hear the smile in his voice, it makes me giggle.
"Please." I respond.
He doesn't tell me which way to go, or moves my hand himself. No, Liam Walker has to go big or go home. Liam's hand moves from around my waist, and I hear shuffling, before he picks me up, bridal style. I feel his hand below my knees and on my back, and I know for a fact I'm blushing. One of my arms goes up, probably hitting him in the face once or twice before wrapping around his shoulder to keep me in place. He can probably hear my heart beating out of my chest, exploding like a thousand gunshots in a row.
Every touch of his feels like fire, even when they're cute and fun like now. We move up at least twenty steps, and then we're on smooth ground. "I'm gonna put you down now." He says, slowly setting me down into what feels like a chair made out of fabric.
I'm thoroughly confused.
I hear him take a seat next to me, I feel his leg brush against mine, and I smell his cologne fill the air.
"You can take off your blindfold."
I push the fabric off, and I see something I never expected. We're in an empty movie theater, seated at the back. On the screen, is the always familiar Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets intro. To Liam's left is a pile of snacks, and I realize what the familiar savory scent was--popcorn.
I'm grinning.
"Liam! What is all of this?" I ask, widening my eyes.
He shrugs. "My uncle owns the theater, so I got us a private showing. I hope it's okay." I have no idea as to why Liam Walker is being so nonchalant about this. I'm freaking out. A lot.
"You are amazing. Thank you so much." I tell him, truly.
The signature smirk is back. And he reaches over to the side, picking up a remote and a package of sour patch kids. I widen my eyes as he offers them over, and I take one from the bag.
Blue.
Score! That's the best one.
He clicks on the film, and I pull up the dividing arm rest between the two of us. Liam pulls an arm over my shoulder, and I set my head on his chest.
