Chapter 13

*February 2014*

"When does Justin arrive?", my older sister asked. We were shopping, just the two of us. When we were younger, we were always together. People used to call us the Adams "Twins" even though she's two years older than me. But time changed and we got older, I met Justin and she had several boyfriends. We weren't always together like we used to. But when we had the time to do things together it was like we never grew up.

"Tonight!", I smiled at the thought of seeing my boyfriend again.

"Is he going to stay at our house?"

"Uhm, Lilly, sweetie, are you sure we have the same parents? Ofcourse not. Mom and dad would probably freak out", I said.

Don't get me wrong, I love my parents and they are awesome and stuff but when it came to Justin and me sleeping in the same bed they were kind of old schooled. They loved him but they didn't want to have a pregnant teenage daughter, I guessed. They had their hands full with my little brother Sammy.

"But that's bullshit! You guys have been dating for almost 3 years... It's not like you're still a virgin or something. Isn't it?"

"No Lilly, but I get them in some kind of way. I'm only 16 years old."

"But still, he should just stay with us"

"I know, but I don't think he will stay with us soon. If they allow Justin to sleep over they have to allow Luke to sleep over."

"thats not true... Me and Luke have been dating for a few months and you guys for almost 3 years! I would totally understand if Justin would sleep over."

"Aww You do?", I said suprised.

"Yeah ofcourse", Lilly smiled.

"Alice?"

"Yeah?", I mumbeled.

"Can I tell you something?"

"Yes ofcourse you can!", I answered.

"Do you remember last summer when you just got back from America?"

"Yess.."

"And do you remember when I told you I had sex with my ex Bryan?"

"Yes?", I didn't understand where she was going with this.

"Well, I lied..."

I gasped. I didn't see that one coming...

"WHAT?! You're still a vir-", I blurted out, a little bit too loud.

"SHHHHH" she cut me off.

"You're still a virgin?" I continued, now with a more silent voice so the entire mall wouldn't here us.

"Yes, I'm sorry but I was kind of ashamed that my younger sister had sex before me so I lied"

"You dont have to be ashamed of that Lilly... If I hadn't met Justin I would still be a virgin like you. Itjust takes the right guy."

"I know. You know? I was so jealous of the relationship you and Justin have. I mean before I met Luke ofcourse. And now, for the first time in my life I feel like I finally found him, the right guy."

I smiled, I was so happy for her. My sister deserved nothing but the best, and I believed that Luke was an excellent guy for her.

"I know. I can see it by the way you look at him. Its different than when you looked at Bryan or Alex or Drew or Carter"

"Really?" She asked, kind of insecure.

"Really!" I told her.

Bzzzzz, I looked at my phone. One new text message, it said. From Justin. Probably to tell me when his plane would arrive at the airport. I opened it.

Justin: hey baby! Everything's alright?

Me: Yeah ofcourse: you're gonne be with me soon. 😊

"Who's it?", Lilly asked.

"Justin", I smiled.

"Ofcourse", she said, "I should have known. If you're smiling while you're texting it's probably Justin. When does he arrive?"

"I don't know yet. But I can't wait! I am so happy to see him again"

Bzzz, my phone vibrated again.

Justin: well, about that, please don't get mad at me.... But my flight got cancelled, I will arrive tomorrow night or at least saturday morning. I am so sorry!

I sighed. This meant that we wouldn't be together for valentines day. This sucked.

Me: Its okay, I get it. 😕

"What's wrong Alice?", I heard my sister ask.

"Justins flight got cancelled. And we will probably not be able to be together tomorrow on Valentines Day"

"Ahhh, that sucks!"

"Tell me about it"

Justin: It sucks, I know... 😞 Do you still love me? 😅

Me: Ofcourse I do, silly. 😘

Justin: I promise I will make it up to you okay? 😉

Me: Okay 😉
