"Okay...are you ready for it?", I heard Brooke saying right next to my ear.

She had blindfolded me when we left the restaurant, I had no clue where I was but I thought she just brought me back to the hotel. She liked to mislead me sometimes.

"Yes! Ooooh, can I guess what it is? Please?", I asked.

Brooke laughed: "Ofcourse you can, but you will never guess right"

"Is it something small?"

"No, I think it's safe to say it isn't.", she laughed.

"Hmm, so it's something big?", I asked.

"Kind of, yeah.."

"Can I hold it for a minute?'

"No"

"Can I at least touch it then?"

"No, you can't"

"ugh, fine, I give up, you win, I have no clue...", I whined.

"I told you so", she laughed.

"Okay, Imma count to three, then you can look... Here we go... One...Two...Three!"

"SUPRISE!!!!!", I heard as soon as I looked. I was standing in a nicely decorated room filled with people, my friends actually.

"OH MY GOOOOOD", I gasped.

"Hey guys", I awkwardly continued. They laughed.

"Brooke was all of this your idea?", I asked.

"Yeah, it was, but I didn't do it on my own", she smiled.

"No, she didn't, we needed her to babysit you", I heard a sweet female voice say. I turned my head to were the sound came from, and saw Ariana. I pulled her into a big hug.

"Oh my god. Thank you guys! I really didn't know", I shook my head and let go of Ariana.

"That's kinda the point of a surpriseparty, you know?", Brooke laughed.

"Hey guys!!! Why don't we sing Alice a happy birthday?", Ariana said.

I started blushing with all these people looking at en singing for me. Before I could embarrass myself even more, the music started and the crowd turned to each other to continue their conversation.

One by one they came to me to say hi, starting with Alfredo:

"Hey girl, long time no see huh?", he smiled while pulling me into a hug.

"Yeah man, I missed my buddy!", I smiled back at him while letting him go.

"Happy eighteenth birthday!"

"Thanks Fredo!"

When he walked away, I saw Brooke with Austin by her side heading in my direction. She was smiling so bright. They weren't really dating due to the long distance between them but I knew they skyped almost every night and they were texting all day long.

"Happy Birthday Alice, finally 18", Austin said as soon as they'd reached me.

"Thank you!", I smiled.

"So I see you and Brooke have already found each other.", I winked to them both.

"It wasn't that difficult, her smile lights up this room, it's impossible to ignore it.", Austin said. It was cheesy but so cute.
