Love Never Dies (a JB love story)

Chapter 19

"Hello welcome in 'Delicia Italia', how can I help you?", a young girl welcomed us.

"Good evening, I reserved a table for two" Justin answerd. The girl looked in her book and said:

"Mr & Mrs Bieber?" She asked. Justin nodded and smiled at me.

"Follow me, please", she continued. We followed her to a table next to the fireplace and sat down.

"I will come back with your menus in a second. Can I offer you something to drink?"

"Yes, we will have two glasses of champagne, please", Justin said. When she walked away he said:

"God, I love how she called you 'Mrs Bieber"

"Yeah, me too.", I smiled.

"Here, one glass for you and one glass for you. And here are the menus.", the waitress said politely once she had returned. People around us were starting to notice it was Justin Bieber sitting in the same room as them, we could here them all whisper but we didn't care: tonight was our night.

After Justin paid the bill, he insisted, we heard someone yelling as we were exiting the room: "Wait!"

We stopped and turned around. Our waitress was now getting a bit unconfident when she asked: "you are Justin Bieber and Alice Adams, right?"

"Yes we are", I smiled.

"Can I ask you something? I know it's really inappropriate because you guys are obviously on a date but would you mind taking a picture with me?"

"Ofcourse not!", I answered.

The girl, we found out here name was Nadia, stood between me and Justin when her boss took a picture.

"Thank you so much!"

"Ah it's no problem Nadia", Justin hugged her.

"I love your music so much! When will you release a new album?" She asked.

"I'm working on it! Next week I'm going to Miami to record some songs" he said.

What? Why didn't he tell me?

"Oh and Alice? I really love your sense of fashion. Like, you always know what to wear. Nothing over the top to impress people but classy and casual. You dress like how all girls should dress"

"Thank you", I blushed.

"I think girls shouldn't wear something slutty just to make a statement.", she stated.

"Yeah, I totally agree!" I said.

Nadia was actually really sweet. After some more chitchat we said our goodbyes and went out. When we had walked for a few minutes I broke the silence: "so you're leaving next week? Why didn't you tell me?"

"Becauuuuuse, I wanted it to be a suprise."

"Well, mission accomplished.", I said with a sarcastic tone in my voice. 

"Baby, the suprise had to be that you could come with me since your Spring Break starts next week..."

I looked up at him and smiled, why was I acting so stupid when he was always so sweet.

"I would love to Justin!", I stopped and kissed him. When he pulled away he said: "And I was thinking Brooke could come with us because I'll have to work so when she's comes with us you won't be alone."

"Omg, that would be so much fun. I'm gonna call her first thing in the morning. She's gonna freak out"

Justin laughed, took my hand and started walking again. When we walked for another 5 minutes I noticed we had reached the beach, we took off our shoes and walked towards the water. I noticed Justins hand was shaking.

"Uhm, Alice. I want to tell you something and you just have to listen, no interrupting, okay?"

"Okay" I was starting to get nervous.

Justin said down one when knee and took my hand in his. Oh. My. God. My stomach started to flip around, heart beating faster and faster. What was he doing? He wasn't about to do what I was thinking he would do, right? How was I supposed to act? What was I supposed to say? If I said no, I would break his heart. I didn't want to get married yet, but I also didn't want to break his heart by declining his proposal.

Justin cleared his troat and started speaking:

"I am nervous", he laughed.

"Don't be", I said although I was.

"Shh, you can't speak." he said.

He took a deep breathe and started speaking again:

"My dear Alice, 3 years ago Allison made you my One Less Lonely Girl and I will forever be grateful for that. She was the one who brought the most amazing, sweet and beautiful girl into my life. Before I met you I didn't really believe in love at first sight but when I saw you for the very first time on that stage I was starstruck. And since that day I love you with all my heart. I've loved you the past 3 years and I will love you for the rest of my life. You are the one I wanna grow old with, you are the one who I want to be the mother of my children. So sweet sweet baby, I promise to love you. Alice, I really want to marry you, I want you to be my wife one day. With this" -he took something out of his pocket, a box- "I promise to marry you one day. With this I promise to love you for the rest of my life."

He opened the box and what I saw, was one of the most beautiful rings I'd ever seen, he continued: "this is called a Promise Ring."

He shove the ring on my finger and said: "I promise to love you and to never lose faith in what we have."

"I promise to always love you too, Justin. I will always believe in us", I answered. He pulled me closer to him. He wiped away my tears and that's when I saw he was crying too. Before I could wipe away his tears he kissed me. He pulled away and rested his forehead against my forehead.

"You know you kind of just promised to marry me one day, right? So you basically have no choice now", he smiled.

I chuckled: "I guess I'll just have to learn live with it."
