Chapter 23

"Hi Brooke, nice to meet you. I'm Austin Mahone"

Brooke's face was priceless.

"H- H- Hi I.. I...I'm Br-Br-Brooke", my best friend stuttered.

Come on Brooke, don't be so nervous! I thought. But I got it, I was really nervous too when I met Justin.

"So I heard you're a huge Mahomie?", Austin said. Brooke didn't say a word and just looked at the ground.

"Yeah, she is", I helped.

"And I also heard it's your 17th birthday today?", He smiled.

"Uhm yeah", Brooke said shyly.

I smiled, thinking back at the first time me and Justin talked, I probably acted the same way as Brooke did now.

"Happy Birthday!", Austin said. He gave her a sweet kiss on her cheek and pulled her into a hug. At first she blushed but I saw her slowly regaining her cool.

"Thank you, Austin", she smiled as they both pulled away.

"Me and Austin were recording a song today and I, I mean, we thought you would like to meet him...", Justin said.

"It was Justins idea", I said.

Yesterday, when I was out to buy Brooke's birtdaypresents me and Justin called and he came up with the idea. He called Austin, and Austin immediatly agreed.

"Thank you guys", she smiled, "this is really the best birthday I've ever had"

"There's more to come...", I said.

"...we're going out for dinner...", Justin continued.

"And you are my date", Austin ended the sentence.

"Oh, and do I have a say in all of this or...?" Brooke teased.

"No", the three of us said together.

"Aye, man, I think you should ask Brooke out for dinner, like a proper gentleman would, don't you think?", Justin winked.

"I don't know.. Should I Alice?", Austin said with a smirk on his face.

"Yeah, Austin, I think you should", I replied.

"Alright Justin, I think I have to listen to your girl...", Austin smiled.

"Yeah bro, you should. She is always right", Justin replied, wrapping his arm around me.

I looked at Brooke, standing there, smiling like a fool and winked. Austin walked over to Brooke, took her hand and asked: "Brooke, do you want to be my date to the dinner with Justin and Alice?"

"I don't know Austin.....", she said in a teasing way.

Austin gave her the puppy eyes and she immediatly said: "yes, ofcourse!" Girls just can't resist puppy eyes, I thought.

"Hey, Brooke, I think we should take some birthdayselfies, don't you think?", I said.

"Yes! I need some pictures for my Instagram", she laughed.

"Okay, first me and Alice", Brooke continued. I nodded and walked over to her, she opened the front camera on her phone and she took some pictures. Afterwards she took some pictures with Justin. There was one where Justin was kissing one cheek and Austin kissing the other. I was leaning against a table, looking at how it was now Austins turn to take selfies with her, when Justin came over to me and put his arm around my shoulders.

"Look at her", I said.

"She looks really happy", Justin said.

"We made her dream come true", I said, "thank you for helping me Justin"
