When my plane landed in Brussels, Belgium, and I entered the big arriving hall, all my friends and family and a bunch of media were waiting for me. Great, I thought. I really wasn't in the mood to be the happy-to-be-home-long-lost-daughter/friend. I wasn't happy at all. I was glad to see them again, but i wasn't really happy to be home.
'Alice!', my mom shouted. I searched for her in the group of familiar faces, and once I found her, I ran towards her and my dad, standing next to her. I missed them and I really needed my parents to hug me right now.
'Alice, I missed you so much! I am so happy to finally hold you in my arms again.', my mom said, pulling me into a big hug. 'I missed you to mom.' And I continued a little bit more quiet: 'I really need you right now'
'I know, sweetie. We'll be home soon' she whispered back. I nodded and pulled back so I could hug my dad, who didn't say much but I saw him tearing up a bit.
"There is my little girl", he said.
'Well well well, look who's back! Isn't that my long lost little sister?', my older sister Lilly said. She pulled me into a hug. After a few seconds a felt two little hands pulling my jeans.
'Sammy!' I smiled when I looked down at my little brother. God, I missed him so much. This was the good thing of coming back: seeing him again. I kneeled down and pulled him into a big hug.
'I missed you Alice', my little brother said.
'I missed you too sammy!'
After I said hi to Brooke and a few other friends of my school, I answered some questions of a few interviewers and then I finally could go home.

'Welcome home!', my father said as he opened our front door and I stepped inside. It was weird to be home.
'Good to be home', I said. It was the truth. After saying goodbye to Justin more than 12 hours ago, I was happy to be home.
'Do you mind if I take a shower and hop into bed? It's been a long day and I am really tired. I think my jetlag is kicking in', I asked my mom.
'Don't you want something to eat? Afterwards you can shower and sleep as much as you want! What do you think? I can warm up some homemade soup?' my mom asked.
'That would be amazing mom, thank you!' I said after I realised I actually was really hungry. 'Can I make a quick call to Justin in the meantime?' I asked, 'He asked me to call him wh-'
'Ofcourse you can!, my mom didn't give me a chance to finish my sentence.
I took my phone and dailed Justins number. After two moments waiting I heard a click and following a sleepy sexy voice:
'Justin speaking' I smiled.
'Hi baby, it's me. Sorry for waking you but I just-', I was cut off again.
'Alice! Baby! Are you home? How was your flight?' Hi sleepy voice immediatly changed into an excited happy one, when he heard it was me.
'Yes I'm home. My flight was lonely but I survived. Although there was a man next to me who was snorring the entire flight.', I could hear Justin smirk on the other side of the line.
'Thank you for that song btw. I love it. It's really beautiful.', I continued.
'I'm happy you like it'
'Alice, your soup is ready!', my mom shouted from the other room.
'I have to go... My food is ready. Sorry again for waking you up Justin'
'I don't mind if you're the person waking me up babe', he said.
'Call me soon huh?', I asked.
'Yes! Love you baby'
'Goodnight. Love you too.' I said before hanging up the phone. I walked to the kitchen and sat down on the chair with a deep sigh.
Once I finished my soup, I took a shower and went to bed. It was strange to be in my bed again, in my room. It was strange to lay alone again. God, I only went a few hours without Justin and I already felt terrible. How was I supposed to survive the next few weeks?
