Epilogue
"Maria, come on!" Bryce yelled over the baby's crying.
I gulped down the last bit of blood in the glass and set the glass in the sink. I sighed and wiped my mouth. I walked towards the front door and Bryce was holding the door open and holding our daughter while she fussed.
I grabbed her and held her to my hips, she calmed down instantly.
"How do you do that?" Bryce asked running his fingers through his head.
"You are not calm, you are worrying about my parents as usual and she sensed that and freaked out," I explained to him for the fourth time.
I walked out holding Elizabeth and Bryce sighed and closed the door. I stood next to the car waiting for Bryce.
"How about you drive and I'll hold Elizabeth?" he asked.
"Okay," I smiled and handed Elizabeth to him and kissed him on the cheek while I fished the keys out of his pocket.
Elizabeth quieted down and snuggled against Bryce and looking at him.
"Unbelievable," he muttered.
I chuckled and got into the driver's seat and started the car and drove off.
After an hour of driving we arrived to my parents' house. As we got out, there was an excited scream and mom rushed out and hugged me and then Bryce and she picked Elizabeth and peppered kisses all over her face.
I shook my head smiling and Bryce wrapped his arm around my waist and we walked into the house.
Dad was hugged and kissed Elizabeth before mom whisked her away. Dad hugged me and shook hand with Bryce.
"Hey," a familiar voice said.
I turned around and saw Jessica walking down the hall.
"Jessi... whoa," I said when I noticed her stomach was huge.
Jessica chuckled and we hugged and Jessica hugged Bryce too.
"Hey Maria," I turned around and saw Trevor behind me.
"Hey, Trevor," I said hugging him.
After he shook hands with Bryce, he went to Jessica side.
Jessica got married six months ago to Trevor and their first child is growing in her. They are in the process of changing Jessica. I became a vampire a month before I had Elizabeth and a two months later Bryce and I got married.
Bryce nudged me and inclined his head to my family. I nodded, understanding what he meant.
"You guys," I called out and they looked at me. "Bryce and I have good news. I'm pregnant again."
Everyone erupted in a clamor and everyone hugged me and Bryce was patted and hugged.
After everything died down, we heard a car pull up and several moments later the door opened.
"Hello," a familiar voice called out.
"Jade!" Mother squealed.
Jade walked in smiling and behind her was a boy about her age looking very nervous. Bryce, Trevor and I smelled a woodsy smell and it seemed to be coming from him. My eyes looked at his neck and I saw a crescent moon tattoo.
Trevor and I and Bryce looked at each other, knowing what the newcomer was.
Werewolf.
"Hey, guys, I want to meet, Brad Silvertooth, my fiancée," Jade announced.
We all were stunned but soon we were shaking his hand and we herd him to the living room and pelted questions as him.
After awhile Bryce and Trevor and I had a private conversation with Brad and we discovered he poses no threat to Jade. He was attracted to her like Bryce was attracted to me.
At the end of the day, we all were happy with each other and we lived happily ever after.
