Oh yeah sure. This totally isn't creepy.
Shut up. We don't have any choice. Just keep an ear out.
Should I-?
No.
I walked very quietly with (Y/N)'s hand clutched tightly in my hand. Anti has more sensitive ears than I do. He can pick up on noises faster than me so it'll be easier to work together. He's not the most... stable... but he's, unfortunately, all I can do.
I need him for now. We can switch places in times of emergency if needed.
I actually didn't even notice he was there for several years. He grew in the back of my mind over time, laughing and commenting on the world around him. He'd kinda always been there. He popped up probably during my high school days. He used to have a real fascination in trying to kill me but got over that when he found out that if I die then he died as well. He needs me to live so that he can too. We share a life.
He and I came to an agreement that we can work together to live and we switch off places if needed. If I'm caught in a dangerous situation, I hand over control to Anti so that he can deal with the problem.
I take over talking and being social so that people don't get suspicious about us. I'm usually in control but I allow him to take over when it's needed or if I need a mental break.
There was one time that I was going through a really rough patch in my life and I started to have a mental breakdown during college. Anti noticed and he took over when my mind shut down. He went through my daily life for a few days.while I just slept and allowed myself to calm down and clear my head.
I don't know what all he did during those three or four days since he cut off all my ways of interacting with the world to force me to get my shit together and rest.
I've never seen Anti actually like someone before though. He 'tolerates" me. But he seems kinda attached to (Y/N).
He was really intent on protecting her while in the cubby. And right now he's on high alert for noises.
I can hear everything.
I can hear (Y/N)'s very faint footsteps and the soft breathing she has. It's slightly shaky, showing her fear. I can hear something faint out in the darkness.
It's like a music box almost.
I can also hear the faint music growing closer.
She's coming. Stop moving. Cover (Y/N)'s mouth.
I stopped dead in my tracks and (Y/N) softly hit my back.
"Oof... wha-," she started but I let go of her hand to put it over her mouth after turning and pointed the flashlight at the floor.
"Shh." I shushed faintly and let Anti listen closely.
(Y/N) didn't move and put both of her hands over the one I had over her mouth. She held onto it and I could feel her shaking.
The music grew more and more faint and I let go of her, taking her hand. I nodded in the faint glow of the flashlight reassuringly and she nodded back. I pointed the flashlight forward again and started to walk slowly,
(Y/N) walked behind me, close on my heels.
Jack. Let me for a second. I know a way to find that robot.
Alright fine. But be careful.
I felt my eyes burn and I felt sick for a moment. I had to stop walking for a moment which alerted (Y/N).
