My body shot up violently when the night took over. As my body shot up at the sounds of screams panic rose in my chest and I contemplated running for my life. I hated that I was the weak run but if it came down to it, running was better than dead. I shot up out of my bed throwing my jacket on quickly and leaving my bedroom where I came face to face with Alicia who had just left her bedroom as well. "Where's Nick?" I asked her glancing into her room, all the noises from upstairs, the sound of panic leaving my ears. Leaving my mind as I only wanted to hear where Nick was.

"I don't know. He was gone when I woke up. Don't worry, he always comes back." Alicia smiled tightly closing the door.

"I wish I could say the same but I can't." I bitterly commented turning and running upstairs to where the screams were coming from Alicia trailing not too far behind me. And as we left we came across Maddison helping a heavily pregnant woman who was panting and bleeding.

"Mum what's going on?" Alicia asked putting on her jumper.

"Baby's in distress. Just stay in your room." Maddison ordered turning away and pulling the girl into her room. I turned to Alicia who seemed conflicted hearing the voices from above.

"What the hell is going on?" I muttered to myself rushing up the stairs with Alicia following behind me. Once we got to upstairs I frowned upon seeing two unknown people.

"Jack?" Alicia asked and I felt my lips form a tight frown as she appeared to recognise him. I just jumped back as Travis was punched in the face and I tried to turn and run away but one of them snaked their arms around my waist violently pulling me back and tying up my wrists shoving me to the couch with a twisted smile. "Jack don't please." Alicia begged watching Jack tie up Chris.

"He's doing his job, cable tie her." The other man ordered gesturing to Ofelia.

"Why are you doing this?" Alicia demanded to know.

"She can circumnavigate the world from a ship, you're a prize." The man pointed out with a growl.

"You're making a mistake." Travis groaned out.

"I think your son made the mistake, 'should I shoot him?' Piece of advice, if you have to ask the question someone should already be dead." He barbarically pointed out with a snarl not taking his eyes off me uncomfortably so. Scaling my body perversely he then smirked noticing I was looking back at him but I shrunk away from his glance, never having felt so small my whole life. "Daniel is next, your girl can help you." The man ordered Jack.

"I'm not doing shit." Alicia defiantly called out and I shrunk back further feeling the cold metal of the gun barrel press against my throat in an almost seductive way.

"We can bind them, we can shoot them, even the pretty ones." The other man grinned manically moving the gun away from me letting me let out a breath of relief. "No skin off my nose."
