I don't normally leave notes before each chapter but since watt pad or my computer or me is being stupid and won't let me upload a you tube video I'll just tell you what songs to listen to before the chapter ;)

I recommend Freak Like Me by Halestorm for the beginning and middle part of this chapter.

Enjoy! ;D

I took a minute to stand in front of the mirror and just look at myself. I wore shredded back skinny jeans, two different length chains hanging from my belt loop to my wallet in my back pocket. A Black Raven's Curse tank top hung loosly from my shoulders, a black bra showing through. My big combat boots added at least three inches to my already 5'8" heighth.

The perfect image of a 'goth'. I twirled my scarlet red hair around my index finger. I hated my real hair which was orangey carrot colored. So I dyed it a deep scarlet. Everyone sneered at it. One girl even told me I should dye my hair black so I'd look like a real goth. I mean what the hell was that about? I'd been called emo since fifth grade, Faggot since sixth. And everything worse from then on.

I will never know what I did to the world but I love my music and I love my style.

I tore my eyes away from the mirror, and finally raced downstairs, grabbed my backpack and car keys, and slammed the front door behind me without a glance at my mother who sat at the kitchen island.

I slipped into my black mustang, backed out of the driveway, and sped down the street towards my doom a.k.a school.

I couldn't wait to tell Declan what I got him for his birthday, which was today.

I practically ran to the room where the Band hangs out.

Our school has a lot of money so we have a studio in our school for recording songs. It's awesome. My band hangs out there all the time it's like my home away from home. I have a band named The Decapitated Unicorns. Yes. Weird. But we came up with it in seventh grade and it just stuck.

I'm the singer, Declan plays drums, my friend Ronnie plays guitar, and then Juliet plays bass. I can also play acoustic and electric guitar.

I tripped twice running down the hall towards the Studio. I was so excited to see Declan's reaction!

I burst into the Studio, breathless. "Declan! You here?" I peered into the room and looked around for Declan. The faint scent of cigarettes wafted through the room, drawing me farther torwards the sound booth.

When I stepped completely into the room and took a couple steps I stopped in my tracks.

At the table in swively office chairs sat four men clad in leather, and a beautiful woman wearing the reddest lipstick and the biggest smile. There was another guy in the sound booth singing/screaming some silly crap.

In that moment when he walked out of the sound booth and all the guys turned around in their chairs I knew who they were and I had to hold my breath and count to ten so I wouldn't screech with glee.

"Well it all works perfectly!" he said as he walked out of the sound room.

"This place is waaaaay better than my high school." said one of the guys.

"Hi, are you Juliet..."she looked down at a paper. "Or Rikki?"

The woman finally acknowledged me, flashing a stunning smile.

"Um, Rikki."I said, smiling. I looked down and tucked my hair behind my ears but it just fell back into place, shading my eyes.

"Great! It's awesome to get to meet young artists and work with them, come, sit. Tell me all about yourself," she pulled another swivel chair up next to her and patted the seat.
