"Who is it?" I call after I hear a knock at my door.
The door slowly opens and Isaac pokes his head in. I jump up and run over to him. He slips in and closes the door behind him.
"Are you okay?" gently, I wrapped my arms around him and held him against my chest. I kissed the top of his head and buried my face in his hair.
"I will. I'm getting there," he sighed, his voice shaky. Isaac carefully wrapped his arms around me and started crying. I could hear his little sniffles and I could feel his tears soaking through my shirt.
"Baby, come lay down," I slip my hand into his and help him get into my bed. He winces when I touch his left side, and whimpers. "Isaac...?"
Once he is laying on the bed comfortably I sit next to him try to lift his shirt. Isaac grabs my wrist. "No, Declan, I don't want you to see."
His eyelids were heavy and his eyes themselves were all puffy like he'd been crying a lot. "Isaac, come on, I can't help you if you don't let me."
"But-" I pulled his shirt off anyways. Isaac didn't even try to resist this time. I gasped. There were bruises all over his torso and gashes from his father's belt. worst of all his left side was so many different shades of blue and black I couldn't even tell it was his skin.
"Isaac what did he do to you?" gently I cradled his face.
"He tried to kick the gayness out of me," Isaac smiled a little.
"First, that's not possible, second I'm about to go beat the shi-" Isaac rested his hand on my knee.
"Don't, just... lay with me for a moment. I need to sleep. I couldn't sleep at home because I was afraid he'd come and beat me again while I was alseep." the tears came again, but I could tell he was running out.
I lay down next to him on the pillow, our faces inches apart, his sweet breath filling my nose. I nuzzled his nose with mine and smiled. "I love you," I whispered.
"I love you too," I saac snuggled up against my chest and I held him. I kissed the top of his head, his soft hair tickling my nose. "Declan?"
"Yes?"
"You know," he looked up, a sly grin on his face. "It's not really fair that my shirt is off and yours isn't."
I roll my eyes and smile. Careful not to bump Isaac I sit up and pull my shirt up and over my head. When I look down at Isaac he has a big grin on his face. I laugh. "Do you know how much I love you?"
"Ummm... a lot."
"More than a lot." I lay back down and Isaac immediately cuddled back up against me.
"You have soft skin," he says, stroking my chest.
"You have soft hair," I said, burying my face in it.
"I haven't taken a shower in two days and my hair is all greasy, so I wouldn't recommend that."
"Too late."
Isaac trailed his fingertips lightly down my torso, causing my skin to shiver and tremble. I kissed his forehead. "That tickles!"
"Sorry." he stops.
"It's fine. Are you too tired or...?"
Isaac presses his lips to mine, and my mouth instantly opens. My lip catches on his spider bites, but he just keeps kissing me. I feel his tongue exploring my mouth, my hand tangles in his hair, his small hands grip my back, and we're lost. Isaac presses against me even harder like he can't get close enough to me.
Next thing I know I've lost my pants and we're under the covers gasping for breath. I press my forehead aginst his. We're both smiling widely and there's a crazy look in his eyes. I throw the blankets off and Isaac rolls on top of me. Just as we start kissing again my sister decides to walk in.
"Ew! Ugh, That is sooo disgusting. You do realize if you have faggot sex you'll die from nasty diseases." she says in her snotty little voice.
"You know, if you have sex with tons of different guys that you know nothing about you could also get nasty diseases," I shot back.
"What are you talking about?" she asks, eyes wide.
"I know what you and all your little boyfriends do when mom is out! I hear it all little sister. I hear it all," I said menacingly.
She rolls her eyes. "Isaac, why are you covering up, it's not like you have boobs. ... or do you?" she says with an evil grin.
I look down to see Isaac covering his wounds. "You know, what? Get the hell out of my room!" I get up and shove her out of my room so she falls on her butt in her hallway. "TAKE YOUR FRICKIN' HOMOPHOBIA SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE THEY ACTUALLY CARE BECAUSE I DON'T AND I'M TIRED OF IT! ISAAC NEVER DID ANYTHING TO YOU, AND IF YOU CAN'T GET OVER THE FACT THAT I'M VERY SUPER DUPER ÜBER GAY THEN I GUESS YOU CAN JUST BE AN ONLY CHILD BECAUSE I CAN'T LIVE WITH THAT. Damn, I don't even know how I've lived with you for this long," I shake my head. I can already feel the tears coming.
"What's happening?" my mother rushes up the stairs frantically looking around. When she sees me standing there in my black boxers and Lindsey on the ground she stops, "Oh, Declan baby, I-I'm so sorry honey."
She rushes over and hugs me tightly. "Hey! What about me?" screams Lindsey in her vain little way.
"What about you? You can go pack your things. You're going to an all girls boarding school like I promised if an outburst like this ever happened again." my mom puts her hands on her hips and glares down at Lindsey.
"WHAT?" she shrieks. "No! I have a life here."
"Well you just threw it away. Go pack." with that, my mother turns on her heel and goes back downstairs.

"Good morning," whispers Isaac in my ear.
"Mornin'," I mumble, rolling over. "Woah," when I roll all the way over Isaac's face is right there.
"Hi."
"That scared the crap outta me," I laughed.
Isaac just curled up against me and found his way into my arms. "I'm tired." he states.
"I bet," I smile down at him and kiss him on the forehead when he looks up. "We only slept for about five hours."
"Yeah... so much for getting some sleep." he closed his eyes.
"Well it's only 8:00, you can sleep more."
"Will you stay with me?" he asked, his voice muffled by my chest.
"Of course baby!" gently, I ran my hands along his back, careful of the cuts and tender spots. Soon, Isaac is alseep and rolls over, his back to me. I bury my face in his shoulder and slowly fall asleep as well.

Yawning, I sit up and stretch. The clock on my bedside table reads 11:45, Saturday morning, September sixth. Woohoo, Saturday, my day to do laundry, I think sarcastically. I grab my dirty clothes from yesterday and drag my laundry basket out into the hallway.
"Awe, Declan! Please, at least put some underwear on!" my mom yells as she walks out of her room. I look down and realized I'm standing there stark naked in the middle of the hallway. I instantly dash back into my room and dig around in my dresser for some clean underwear.
"Declan, come back to bed, I'm cold." groans Isaac, rolling over in the bed.
"I have to do the laundry," I whine, pulling on some grey boxers. "You should get up too, we could go see a movie or something."
"Okay." he sits up and then gets off the bed and stands. The blankets fall off him and I can't help but stare. Isaac is just so beautiful (and handsome of course). He blushes and I look away.
"Sorry, I can't help it," I say, blushing as well.
"It's okay. I stare too," he says, looking down and letting his hair fall into his eyes.
I throw a shirt, underwear, and some jeans at him. "Get dressed and help me with the laundry please."
