I woke up as a ray of sunlight shone through the prison bars. Quietly, I stood up to walk around. My leg is feeling much better than yesterday. Astrid was awake, but everybody else was still sleeping. She looked at me and smiled.
"Morning."
"Morning, M'lady."
"So... How's your leg?"
"It's much better."
"Oh," she said as she lowered her head. "Glad to hear that."

I examined the look on her face. She was clearly not glad.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked.
"I just thought... Maybe it's too dangerous for you to fight. Maybe... I can help you somehow."
"Astrid, I'll be fine! Stop worrying about me!" I said, trying to cheer her up.
"We never stop worrying about each other," Astrid said and smiled. "You know that."
I kissed her softly on the cheeks. She giggled in reply.
"Thanks, Hiccup," she said.

Moments later, guards appeared at our cell. They looked at us and smirked. "Alright, couple. Come on, it's show time!"
I rolled my eyes. "How many tasks do I have to complete before you free us?"
"5. Today is your second task SO STOP TALKING AND COME ON!"

I looked at Astrid and the others.
"See you at night," I said as I walked away. Astrid grabbed my arm.
"Hiccup?"
"...Yes, Astrid?"
"Be careful."

I nodded and headed towards the arena.
"Where do you think you're going?" The guard asked.
"The arena of course."
"You're task won't be in the arena today."
"What? But - "
"No buts. Follow me."

And so I followed him. He's kind of annoying when he tries to be mysterious. We arrived at a big lake. I see that Astrid and the others have already arrived.

"Attention!" Shouted the same voice as yesterday.
"Welcome to ROUND 2! Today will be the second task for our challenger, Hiccup Haddock, to complete!"
The crowd cheered loudly.
"Today, he will be completing.."

I held my breath.

"The treasure hunt!"

The crowd cheered. A treasure hunt. Hmm. Doesn't seem that hard.

The announcer picked something out of his pocket. A key.
"This key unlocks the next round," he said as he dropped it into the lake.

"Hiccup Haddock, your goal is simply to retrieve the key."

I sighed. Retrieving a tiny key from a huge lake. Wow.

"...and," he continued, "this must be done in one breath."

Wait, what?! Who do they think I am? A fish? I can't hold my breath for that long!

"You may begin."

I looked into the water. Looks like I've got no choice. My friends depend on me. I need to do this.
