19. Better as Friends?

I run out of the party and down the stairs trying to find Jake, but he's no where to be found.

I see a gray Tesla drive past in a hurry and I realise that it's Jake. I run back inside and grab Tessa. "We need to go" I yell over the music and she can see the tears streaming down my cheeks and we get in her car.

We race home, my heart is beating so fast and hard it feels like it's going to jump out of my chest. What am I going to say to Jake? Does he hate me now? These questions keep repeating in my head, causing me to have a headache.

We get back to the Team 10 house but I don't see Jakes car. "Can I please borrow your car, I think I know where Jake is?" I ask Tessa and she hands me her keys "just don't crash it or anything" she says softly laughing trying to lighten the mood.

I start driving at first I don't know where I'm meant to be going but all I know is I need to find Jake.

Soon I see the Hollywood sign lit up with lights and I drive towards it.

I park the car and see a tall figure in front of the Hollywood sign. "Jake?" I say softly "why are you here?" Jake responds, it looks like he's been crying.

"I want to talk" I say standing next to him "I'm sorry" Jake whispers and I pull him into a tight hug.

After about two hours Jake and I have finally sorted everything out except we're just going to be friends for now, so we can focus on work and other things like trying to find a new Team 10 house and all that stuff.

We get back to the Team 10 house and I run up to Tessa's room to tell her everything "omg that's great" she says after I finally finish talking "I'm glad you guys can be at least friends".

I finally get ready for bed and as I'm falling asleep I keep asking myself Will Jake and I ever get back together? I really hope we will because I still have feelings for him.

Hey guys sorry it's a short chapter but Jake and Erika are finally friends again! Although I miss them being Jerika.
