23. Moving on

"Hey Kade" I say as he walks into my room "can I talk to you?" Kade asks nervously "sure, what's up" I say patting my bed, gesturing for him to sit. "I've been thinking for a while, and your all I can think about" Kade says softly and I blush, I don't know what to say.

"Do you want to go on a date?" Kade asks blushing "sure" I say smiling and I get small butterflies in my stomach. Kade gets up and walks out and I get ready for the day.

Kade takes us to a cute little café. "What would you like to order" the waitress says to Kade and I. "I'll get some pancakes and a juice, please" I say feeling my stomach growl "and I'll have the same" Kade says and smiles at me. I know I just got out of a relationship, but if Jake can move on so quickly then so can I.

We soon finish our breakfast "do you want to go for a walk?" Kade asks me and I nod my head smiling.
As we're walking I can feel this arm brush up against mine and I get butterflies, then Kade holds my hand intertwining our fingers. I look at our hands and back up at Kade and smile as I can feel myself blushing.

We walk for about 5 minutes and we find a little park bench so we sit down. "What do you think about Alissa being back?" I ask curious to know, since Kade has been in team 10 from the start and has witnessed everything. "Honestly I think she's crazy coming back after what happened but it's her decision" Kade says looking me in the eye, I nod my head in agreement "yeah, I think the same" I say "haha you know what they say great minds think alike" Kade says softly laughing and I chuckle, it's true.

We talk about other stuff when I get a text from Jake

Jake: I need you back at the team 10 house in 10 minutes

Me: Alright, I'll be there

"Kade we have to go" I say sadly, enjoying the moment "alright" Kade says and I can see him a little bit sad as well.

"Hey Jake" I say as I walk through the front door "meeting in the office, 5 minutes" Jake says walking upstairs. "Great he's in a mood, must be something bad" I laugh to Kade "yeah, lets see" Kade says.

"Okay guys because Alissa is back in team 10, we need to film a video explaining everything that has happened and I want everyone to be in it, with your point of view" Jake says setting up a camera in the office. Now that Alissa is back everything has been awkward and no one has really been talking to her except for Jake.

We make the video explaining everything and how we're happy she's back. "Erika can we talk?" Kade asks "sure what's up?" I say "I know you just got out of a relationship but, will you be my girlfriend?" Kade asks blushing and I smile "yes" I say and I pull him into a tight hug.

I know their has been a lot of comments about this being a Jerika story but there no longer together, but you guys have to trust me on this and be patient. Anyway is Kerika real? Do you ship it? Ahhh 7 more chapters of this book and then it's over :( But if you guys want a sequel please comment, because I'm thinking about doing one.
