25. Hospital

Kade and I decide to go back to the team 10 house after spending half an hour contemplating it.

We walk inside not sure wether to expect Jake to be home or not. We hear a loud thud and then see Jake tumbling down the stairs "Jake" I scream and run over to his still body laying on the cold hard tiles. "Kade call an ambulance" I yell checking Jake for and damage, he's got bruises everywhere and a massive bump on his forehead. I pick Jake's head up and rest it on my lap, I keep checking if he's heart is beating and if he's breathing every minute or so.

Kade and I arrive at the hospital soon after Jake. I decide to text everyone what happened. "Miss did you see what happened?" The nurse asks me "yeah, I heard a loud bang and then all I see is jake tumbling down the stairs. When he got to the bottom he wasn't moving." I say with tears filling in my eyes. I always think the worst in these situations. What if Kade and I had gotten their earlier? Would that have even happened?

I sit down next to Kade in the waiting chairs and he puts his arm around me "Jake will be okay" Kade whispers in my ear.

A few hours pass and I've heard nothing from the doctor about his condition. "Miss you are free to visit Jake now, just be careful he's a bit tired and sore" the nurse says coming out of the room with papers and I run inside.

"Jake" I whisper softly "Erika?" Jake asks sitting up slowly "yeah, it's me" I say stepping closer to the bed "how are you feeling?" I ask "sore, very sore" Jake says rubbing his head "do you remember what happened?"
"Not really".

I walk back out to the reception desk, "hello, I'm here visiting Jake Paul, do you know what happened and why?" I ask the woman behind the desk "reports show that Jake was under the influence of illicit alcohol, causing him to trip down the stairs and black out when he hit his head" the lady says reading the report off her computer "okay, thank you" I reply with a small smile.

Why was Jake drinking? Was he upset? All these thoughts come flooding through my head all at once causing me to get a headache.

"Jake I'm sorry but I have to leave, I'll be back tomorrow" I say softly "it's okay".

I tell Kade what the nurse says and his mouth drops open "what!? But he's never done anything like that, even when he's at his worst" Kade says "I know".

Disclaimer - none of these events have happened in real life, as far as I know Jake doesn't drink, plus he's under age, so he probably wouldn't.
