The last bell rang and I was so excited and nervous cuz I had my date with Kayla.
"Hey I need a ride home since you picked me up this morning" Cammie said with her arms crossed and anger and hurt in her voice.
"I can't give you a ride home"
"Kayla is sitting it the back"
I chuckled. "Kayla has cheerleading practice. Do you want to hang out for a little bit?"
"Sure"
We walked to the car and drove to my house. We jammed out in the car. It was fun.
I parked the car and we went to the kitchen.
"Hey sweetie. Oh hi Cammie" deb said while stopped chopping onions to hug Cammie.
"Hi mom. We are gonna go watch Netflix. Bye" I said grabbing Cammie arm and dragging her up to my room.
"So what are we gonna watch?" Cam said sitting on my bed.
"The office?" I offered
"Great"
I put the office on and turned off the lights and jumped on the bed by Cammie. We both giggled.
We watched it for about an hour and a half.
"Shannon" my mom yelled
"What?" I yelled back
She didn't answer so I get up from the bed. "Be right back" I said walking out of the room
"What?"
She held up my phone and I looked
"Hey what's up?"
"Where are you?"
"What are yo-" I looked at the time on the stove. "Oh my gosh I'll be over in fifteen"
"Bye" she hung up before I could say good bye
"Cammie" I yelled. "We gotta go c'mon" I grab my keys and bolt out the door
Cammie came down the stairs and looked at deb and waved goodbye.
"Come by anytime"
"Thank you, I will"
Cammie shut the doer behind her and walked to the car.
"Hurry"
She started to walk faster. She got in the car.
"Why are you in a hurry" she chuckled
"Gotta pick up Kayla" I put it in drive and take off
"Oh"
I drove at least 50 all the way.
I pull up to the school and see Kayla sitting on the curb. I put it in park and get out.
"I am so sorry"
"Your fifteen minutes late Shan-. And now I know why"
"What" I said looking down
"Cammie. You know it's like you want to be her girlfri-"
I look up and smile.
She smiles back. "I mean if you want to be my girlfriend"
I step closer to her and pull her closer to me. I kiss her then pull away. "I'd love to"
She smiles and puts her arms around my neck and kisses me.
She pulls away. "Hey we gotta go"
"That's right out date" I said smirking
"Well drop me off so I can take a shower and get dressed. Then Cammie ok?"
"Gotcha"
