Logan Bellamy sat at his long, grande family table. His stunning twin sister Beth, who looked similar to him with light brown hair (though hers was much curlier), sat next to him, elegently eating a piece of perfectly cooked salmon. His younger brother James, who had the most blonde hair and blue eyes in all of England, was laughing deeply at something Beth had said. The table was far too long for there was only the three siblings sat at it and it felt so empty in their huge dining room.
"Logan don't you agree?" Said Beth giggling hysterically. Snapping out of his own thoughts, Logan turned to Beth smiling apoligetically.
"Sorry Beth I was distracted, what are you talking about?" Logan said placing his hand on her petite one. She shook her head jokily and grinned her perfect smile.
"Honestly I sometimes wonder how we are even related! I wonder where you go when you drift off into your own mind. We were just discussing the Lady Sophie and the gown she was wearing at the dinner we had at her fathers manor. James agree's with me when I say that...that..." Beth tried to say but was unable to control her laughter, Logan smiled and laughed slighty. Turning to James he saw that he was having just as much trouble breathing.
"Oh Beth just say it! Come on!" Logan said in a very non gentlemenly manor. James tried to breath though he could not do so without spurtting out more laughter.
"That she looked like the food we were eating!" Beth said quickly before anoher laughing fit. Instantly, Logan burst out laughing because the food they were eating was an selection of dead birds. "I'm sorry....I'm sorry I know she is very pretty but she just looked so...so feathery!"
"Enough, enough please! When we next see her I shall not be able to look at her without thinking her a chicken." James said desperately trying to stop laughing but with no result. Abruptly, the grand doors which lead into the dining room were flung open revealing a tall man wearing fine clothes and dark, whispy hair. James, Beth and Logan instantly stopped laughing and turned to see the man that had interrupted their meal.
"I'm most sorry to bother you Lord Logan, Lady Beth and Lord James but there is an urgent matter that I must discuss with you now before it is too late. My name is Herando Fortnis and we are in desperate need of your help." Said Herando and Logan noticed his sharp Bulgarian accent coating his voice. Logan stood up from his seat, along with Beth and James.
"What is this matter you speak of?" Said Logan once they reached Herando. The man drew a piece of paper out of his pocket and held onto it tightly.
"I have travelled far to deliver you this message my lord, all the way from my home in Bulgaria." Continued Herando, Logan crossed his arms over his chest.
"Then please tell us what you came to say!" Logan said desperately trying to get the message from him, Herando took a deep breath.
"Recently, back in Bulgaria, a drastic fire has occured. This fire was at one of Bulgaria's greatest manor's and caused tragic lose, hundreds of servants died along with nearly the entire family that lived there." Said Herando with great sadness inhis voice.
"You say almost, whome may I ask survived?" Logan asked and Herando unfolded the small piece of paperin his hand and looked down at it dramatically.
"The only surviver from an entire family was a young lady named Kasienka Dortrova, a beautiful young lady." Herando said and passed the piece of paper to Logan who took it and looked down at it. The piece of paper was a drawing of a dazzilingly beautiful women who was the age of 17. She had exquisite ringleted brown hair and mesmerizing chocolate eyes. Logan didn't think he had ever seen anyone more stunning.
"And why did you travel so far to tell us this?" Asked Beth glancing at the drawing in Logan's hand.
"Because she had requested to start a new life, far away from Bulgaria but has no where to go. Me and my master agreed that England would be the best place as it is far away and still has exquisite culture and life. When we asked many English lords about the best place for her to go nearly all said that you and your siblings would show no hostility and would possibly allow her to live with you, for ever how long you see appropriate." Herando said with begging eyes. Without even a second thought, Logan knew that he wanted to help Kasienka for she was so beautiful she must have a beautiful heart as well.
"Of course, she may stay as long as she needs." Logan said, handing the photo back to Hernado who took it gratefully.
"Oh thank you! Thank you my lord she shall be here before the week is out!"Herando said excitedly. Beth and James turned and stared at LOgan.
"What? Are sure this is a good idea Logan?" James asked looking at him crazily.
"Of course." Logan said then turned back to Herando "What could go wrong?"
