"Kasienka, Kasienka it's time to wake up!" Odella said trying to wake Kasienka out of her deep slumber. She moaned and groaned but eventually she woke up.

"Odella? Odella what time is it?"Kasienka said rolling about in her bed. Odella put a tray of fruits beside her bed and began to take out her clothes from her cupboard.

"It's almost noon." Odella said and it took a few moments for Kasienka to realise what she just said. Almost noon? She was meant to meet James and Logan in minutes!

"Odella pick out something reasonably comfortable I need to be in  the kitchens by noon." Kasienka said, leaping out of bed.

"But thats 7 minutes away my lady." Odella said rushing around trying to find hair pins and corsets.

"Then we must work quick!"

Kasienka rushed down the stairs still putting in her left earring. Her colour today was emerald green; earrings, necklace and dress. Hearing footsteps coming around the corner she slowed down and began to walk like a lady who wasn't rushing about. Parker walked out of the dining room alone and looked up at Kasienka.

"Good morning Kasienka. What will you be spending your time doing today?" Parker said when she reached the bottom of the stairs.

"I'm cooking with James and Logan, do you know where the kitchen is?" Kasienka asked and Parker creased his eyebrows.

"How intresting. It is just down there," He said pointing to the corridor on her right. "But Kasienka we have training later in the cellar please be there at 7pm sharp." Parker said before walking past her and up the stairs. Clumsily, Kasienka picked up her skirts and ran down the corridor till she reached a sign above a door labelled 'kitchens.' Gently pushing open the door, Kasienka climbed down a long stone staircase till she reached a large kitchen filled with cauldrons, fire stoves and chopping boards. Oh and Logan and James. They both stood there positivelly beaming at her.

"Kasienka what a pleasure to see you again." Logan said smiling at her and only to be polite, Kasienka smiled back. He may be the most handsome man Kasienka had ever seen but he was very formal.

"Hello Logan and James." Kasienka said walking towards them. "So what are we making today?"

"I thought a cake would be delightful." James said happily and Kasienka grinned back at him.

"Sounds perfect!" She said, eyeing up the ingridents in the background.

"I will go upstairs and see if a cook is available to help us find anything." Logan said reluctantly and walked past Kasienka and back up the stairs.

"So Kasienka are you much of a cook?" James said whilst walking over to get the huge sack of flour.

"I can hardly put butter on bread James, honestly if I could cook I would be a lot happier." Kasienka said playfully.

"Thats the same for me, to be honest I never had much of a chance to learn." James said whilst getting a large bowl from a counter.

"Your brother is very welcoming if a little... formal." Kasienka said not sure of the boundries between playful and rude but, judging by James's grin she guessed she was fine.

"Yes he treats everybody as a stranger. But when you get close to him he will open up to you like a book.  But I it does make him very poliet unlike me and Beth who were continuiously scolded growing up for being to casual." James said and Kasienka grinned at how normal he was, he could have fitted in her village!

"Thats similar to me I-" Kasienka began to say but stopped when James accidentally spilled a ton of flour on her expensive dress. Kasienka looked down at herself, mouth open wide.

"I am so sorry my lady please let me call Odella to get you a new dress." James said and was about to walk out the room when Kasienka grabbed a handful of flour and through it on him, laughing hysterically.

"Revenge." Kasienka said playfully and James looked up at her grinning.

"You're not like other women Kasienka." James said looking at her with dreamy eyes though Kasienka didn't notice.

"No I most certainly am not!" Kasienka said smiling and James continued to look at her as if drugged.

"I'm sorry I couldn't find a cook but James-" Logan said entering the room but stopped when he saw them both covered in flour and smiled slightly. "But James Beth is looking for you, she hasn't left for Harriet's yet."

"Oh fine I will go and find her now." Said James, walking past Kasienka and up the stairs. Logan walked forwards looking at Kasienka's ruined dress.

"What happened?" He said smiling.

"It's a very long story." Kasienka said looking into his sparkling green eyes.

"You still look just as stunning." He said walking towards her.

"You compliment me too much Logan." Kasienka said, blushing furiously.

"There is no such thing as too much when it comes to beauty." Logan said wishfully looking at her smile.

"You are too kind." Kasienka said still smiling and still blushing rosie red cheeks.

"You are too beautiful." Logan continued to compliment her, making her heart skip a beat. No, Kasienka thought, I have to stop him doing this to me.

"How about me actually make this cake then?" Kasienka said breaking their stare and contuning to fill the bowl with flour.  The bowl moved around as she poured in the flour, spilling it on the desk top. Logan reached out his hand to still the bowl as did Kasienka and their skin touched. Just for a single moment but it felt like fireworks were erupting inside Kasienka's body, then he looked at her and by the confusion and wonder in his eyes, she guessed he felt it too. Looking away quickly and awkwardly Katerina continued to act like he had no effect on her.

"So do tell me more about yourself Logan Bellamy." Kasienka said trying to seem distant. She could not form a relationship with him, she could not let herself care. The more you care the harder the kill.
