Beth walked into her stunning home after a long day with her good friend (if a little odd) Harriet Johnson. If she was honest, she was glad to be out the house even for a few hours. She knew both of her brothers as well as she knew herself and she could tell by a mere glance how much joy and pain their guest Kasienka was giving. She could tell that the way they both viewed her would only end in heart ache. Her brothers were almost  exact opposites and she thought that Kasienka would only be able to fall for one. And although it pained her to admit it, Beth feared that James would be the one left in the cold. Breaking her out of her thoughts, Beth saw Parker rushing out of the dining room wearing what looked like a thousand cows worth of leather.

"Oh Beth hello again." Parker said as if startled by Beth's presence alone.  Beth was shocked by how these few words he said made her heart pound ever faster. She had hardly ever heard him speak before, at least not directly to her, and she only know realised how perfect his voice was. Beth had hundreds of men begging for her hand in marriage yet she had never even thought of saying yes to any of them. Her friends called her crazy and perhaps they were right, but she was just waiting for that one special person.

"Umm... hello Parker, hello, ah yes hello to you too... I say... Parker hello...umm.. yes!" Beth said constiently skipping over her words. What was she doing? She was the pristine Beth Bellamy not a girl who could not talk to a man!

"Are you alright Beth, you sound a little...off?" Parker said walking closer towards Beth making her cheeks turn crimson.

"Good I am, nice you are." Beth said, silently scolding herself for her insane use of speech.

"Are you sure?" Parker said looking at her oddly.

"Sure very thank you." Beth said, still angry at herself.

"Right...well may I ask what you will be doing tomorrow?" Parker asked and Beth grinned like a fool.

"Nothing! I am doing nothing!" Beth almost shouted at him. What a fool I am, she thought ot herself, I can't belive I am getting so happy about just being near Parker! What is it about him?

"Beth? Beth I'm not sure you meant to say that." Parker said and Beth put her hand to her mouth as she realised she had spoken aloud.

"No I didn't!" Beth said her cheeks turning even more red, how was she going to leave him now/

"It's alright, I don't mind." Parker said and they stared smiling at eachother like a couple of fools before the clock struck the hour making them both knearly jump out of their skin and drop their loving stares.

"I have to go." Parker said running off to what looked like...the dungeons? No that couldn't be right! No, he was going to the dungeons. How odd, Beth thought. But not nearly as odd as their moment that couldn't be explained.
