Lydia
Eight months later
It had been eight months since I had started dating Peter. Since then life had became happy again.
Peter and I were getting along very well. With him I had became the woman I needed to feel.
Now I was feeling confident. I knew that Peter liked my appearence and I loved that. Also I had started taking care of myself more than before, like when I was dating Mark.
Peter liked me a lot especially when sometimes I was putting red lipstick on my lips when we were hanging out at nights.
He used to say that with the red lipstick, I seemed like the female that every man dreams of.
Sometimes Vicky and John were joining us too and we were having a lot of fun.
Vicky was very glad for me, watching me finally living, as she had advised me to do. As Persephone had advised me to do.
Only now I had understood what they meant. Life was beautiful and I could finally taste it.
Sometimes Peter was telling me to take Markella with me and of course the little one was always full of enthusiasm when we were taking her with us.
She liked Peter a lot and he liked her back.
Sometimes he was buying presents for her, actually every single time he was meeting her.
Markella had understood what exactly I had with Peter without I tell her anything.
One night that I was putting her to bed, she asked me what was going on with Peter, better saying she announced me what was going on.
Flashback
"Mommy can I ask you something??" Markella asked
"Of course my sunshine. Tell me." I answered
"You and Peter are a couple, aren't you??" She asked
I looked at her with wide eyes.
How did she understand such a thing?? Me and Peter were always careful with our actions in front of her.
We didn't kiss, hug, even talk about our relationship in front of her.How did she manage to understand??
Seemed like my little sunshine was cleverer than I was thinking.
I tried to be cool.
"Where did that question come from??" I asked her
"I saw him looking at you." She answered
I giggled.
"But every person look at everyone. That doesn't mean anything.." I said caressing her forehead
"No he was looking at you differently.." she said
I looked at her confusingly.
"How was he looking at me??" I asked
"Like.. like uncle Dimitri when he is looking at aunt Fotini." She answered
I smiled.
Well that was not exactly the way he was looking at me. He was looking at me very gently with a small glimpse of seduction.
He was looking at me as every person that is in love.
Me and Peter were in love with each other, but we weren't in a relationship for so long in order to look at each other like the way Dimitri was looking at Fotini.
