Chapter 24 "Unprediction"

One month later

I was having breakfast with Markella in the dinning room, waiting for Peter to join us.

"Is your milk too hot my sunshine??" I asked her

"No, it's good mama.." she a answered

"Nice.." I said and continued having breakfast

After two minutes, Peter came in the room in order to join us.

"Goodmorning my pretty ladies!!" He said gladly

"Goodmorning honey!!" I greeted him gladly too

"Goodmorning Peter!!" Markella said on the same tone

Before he has his seat, he placed a kiss on Markella's forehead and then he kissed my cheek.

"I have a surprise for both of you." He said while he was sitting on his chair

"What is it??" I asked curiously

"Is it a gift for me or mama?? Because you always say that when you have a gift for me or mama.." Markella said

We started laughing at her question.

"Well.. you could call it a "gift".. but not exactly.." Peter said and drank a little from his coffee

"Won't you tell us what is it??" I asked more curiously than before

"The weather is still good and hot, so I decided to skip work for a week and go for a small vacation." He answered "What do you say??"

"Yay!! I like vacation!!" Markella exclaimed happily, clapping her hands

"How did you think something like that??" I asked surprisingly

"Don't you want to go??" He asked back

"I don't say that.. I'm just surprised because we went for in Aegina, after our wedding trip. So I didn't expect us to go again.." I answered

"The truth is that I had much more work than usual after our wedding trip. That's why we didn't go.. but now that I renovated our house in Nafplio, I thought it was a good idea to go for vacation." He explained "So?? What do you say??"

"I don't mind. I like the idea. It will be fun, won't it be my sunshine??" I said

"Yay!!" Markella exclaimed happily again "We can get grandma, grandpa and aunties too!!"

"I don't know my love.. Peter suggested a vacation for the three of us.." I said

I didn't mind if my parents would come too. It would be nice, especially for Markella to spend some days with her whole family, or at least with the most of us.

Also my sisters hadn't gone anywhere this summer, so it would be a good idea to take them with us.

But I didn't know if Peter wanted the same thing too. Maybe he wanted us to stay alone for a little and he didn't want to have my family around.

"I don't mind.." he said "the house is big, all of us can live perfectly inside it. There's no problem.."

"Yay!! Thank you Peter!! You are awesome!!" Markella said excitedly

Peter chuckled and pinched playfully her nose.

"You are more awesome than me!!" He said chuckling again

I leaned to his side. Markella kept eating her breakfast.

"Peter.. are you sure that you want them to come with us??" I whispered at him
