"I have learned now that while those who speak about one's miseries usually hurt, those who keep silence hurt more."

- C.S. Lewis

Lily Luna Potter was sleeping soundly. She had been snuggled up in bed with her cousins, Rose and Dominique Weasley. Her mother's old room was where Lily, Rose, and Dominique were sleeping at. The room was strewn with various possessions and a good smattering of rubbish. Owl feathers, gift wrappers, and opened sweet wrappers littered the floors and a large birdcage standing on top of a study table. Inside it was a magnificent grey owl. His amber eyes surveyed the room, his head swiveling occasionally to gaze at his sleeping mistress. Once or twice he clicked his beak impatiently, but Lily was too deeply asleep to hear him.

Francis the owl was calling Lily for he was seeing another owl outside the window, carrying a letter.

A few minutes had passed when Lily finally woke up. Her head instinctively turned towards the window as she saw the black owl flapping its wings for Lily to see. Her eyes widened as she moved out of bed to open the window. Confused and still dazed, she let the owl in and took the letter, opening it carefully.

"Lily,

Meet me at the coffee shop in Diagon Alley this afternoon. Let's talk.

- S."

Lily read the letter a few more times as she thought of possible situations if she showed up in Diagon Alley to meet Scorpius. A part of her was scared to see him and a part of her wanted to.

"Dracula?" Lily patted the familiar black owl's head before giving a small treat. The owl nipped Lily's finger gently and went out of the window.

All throughout the morning, Lily stayed quiet, waiting for a more productive reason to go to Diagon Alley. Not long in the afternoon, though, she found one.

"I'm going to dad's shop in Diagon Alley." Fred said as he took his winter coat.

The Weasley cousins were huddled together in the living room, playing a game of wizard's chess when Fred was about to leave.

"Can I come with you?" Lily asked.

"No." Fred replied, but Lily followed him anyway.

"What are you gonna do in Diagon Alley, poophead?" Fred asked, looking at Lily.

"I wanna hang out with my favourite cousin." Lily batted her eyelashes as she teased him. Fred simply rolled his eyes.

"Alright. Drop the act. What's up?"

Lily sighed as she mumbled. "Okay, fine. . . I'm going to see Scorpius."

"Why?!"

"Because I haven't really given him the chance to explain. I know it's stupid, but I can't sleep at night, thinking about him."

"Do you want to get back together?" Fred asked, his eyebrows raised.

Lily thought hard. Did she?

Truth is, she didn't know.

"I just want closure." She finally said.

Fred stared at her for a moment before taking an unexpected turn by pulling her for a hug which Lily strangely returned. Maybe that was what she needed - comfort.

But she didn't expect it to come from Fred. The only thing they ever exchanged were insults.

"As much as I find you annoying, I don't want you to get hurt. I'm the only one who can do that." Fred stated with a nod.
