It had been a week since Lily went to the Malfoy Manor. A week of sulking. A week since she decided to give it up with Scorpius.

She never even told anyone about going to the manor.

Not even to Alice.

Little did she know that Scorpius always went to visit her at The Burrow everyday for one week straight. He even bought Lily a gift each time, but Albus was always in the way, thinking that Lily wasn't ready to see him.

There was one time Scorpius thought it was clever to give a big box covered with pink floral paper, so Lily could see.

"Let me guess," Lily said with a raised eyebrow as Albus gulped nervously. "Another one of your admirers?" She assumed.

"Yes!" Albus said too quickly, feeling relieved that she didn't suspect that it was for her.

Tough luck, Scorpius.

The blonde git better not visit the next day if he didn't want to get punched by Albus.

But he still visited. . .

And Lily was asleep.

Fate wasn't exactly in their favour at that moment.

Lily wanted so badly to go back to the Potter house and get away from prying eyes and obvious whispers. If she was back home, she could just lock herself inside her room and listen to loud muggle music until she falls asleep.

But that wasn't an option right now.

That afternoon - before Scorpius came, Lily was playing wizard's chess with James when she decided that losing three times in a row was enough.

"Okay, I give up!" She said grouchily as she crossed her arms.

"Sore loser."

"Shut up." Lily rolled her eyes, though a small smile tugged her lips as she nudged James' leg with her foot. "I'm going out."

"Ah, the scrooge finally decided to go out of the house! We should put this in The Daily Prophet, because this is big news for everyone. Big!" James said seriously as their cousins laughed.

"Sod off, James." Lily rolled her eyes and laughed with them.

"Where are you going, Lils?" Rose asked with a tilt of her head, her curly ginger hair falling slightly on her face.

"The Leaky Cauldron." Lily said as she took her coat and a handful of floo powder from the pot near the fireplace.

"Happy Christmas, everyone! The scrooge is leaving!" James teased even more and Lily stuck her tongue out in return.

With that, she took a step into the fireplace and said, "Leaky Cauldron!"

She dropped the floo powder, making smoke cover her whole body, transporting her to her desired destination.

When she left, James got back to playing wizard's chess against Hugo.

He was bound to lose now.

Just then, there was a loud knock on the door and Albus darted his way down the door. Their family was used to them by now and Fred grew tired of teasing him on and on about his 'admirers'.

Little did they know that it was always Scorpius behind the door.

"Hey, is Lily there?" Scorpius greeted, holding a bouquet of flowers.
