As we finally found a parking spot, I felt my phone begin to vibrate. I checked it and saw it was Zach.
"Hey Jo, can you wait in the car I have a really important phone call." I asked nicely as I squeezed her hand.
"Why of course your majesty." She teases, pretending to bow down to me.
"You're gonna pay for that." I whispered in her ear, planting a lingering kiss on her lip, making her breath hitch.
I got out of the car and walked a few yards away from the car, making sure she couldn't hear the conversation.
"What's up Zach?" I said, answering the phone.
"Hey man I bought everything you asked me for."
"Yes thanks so much Zach." I answered smiling.
"Do you want me to set everything up?" He asked.
"No, not yet. I'll probably have Brent's girlfriend or Natalie set it up. But for now, I should get going or else Jo's gonna get suspicious." I answered.
"Are you nervous?"
"A little little bit. I mean I've never done this before and I really want make it something to remember you know?"
"Yeah I understand. Just remember to meet us at the venue because you know... We do have a concert."
"Yeah I'll be there in a few hours talk to you later."
"See ya later." He said and hung up.
I stuck my hand into my pocket and pulled out a small black velvet box, studying it closely.
"What shall I do with you?" I said opening the box.
"Ryan! What's taking you so long?!" I heard Jo shout, making me almost drop the box.
"I'll be right there!" I shouted back.
I put the box back in my pocket and sighed.
"Guess it's not the right time yet."
