I mean honestly, I really feel bad for the kids. They've barely survived the war between Apophis and the Gods of Egypt, and now they have to deal with a whole new batch of Greek Gods? I mean, we've had a one year break apart from the occasional demon and evil magician fight, but do we ever get to stop doing this?

I guess the obvious answer is simple. No.

Not to mention what the students are going to think about Chris, their new Greek-Egyptian friend that can summon wind and air magic.

But the boy was still one of us after all. He was no different from the other students, Jaz, Cleo, Felix, Julian. Except that he was part Greek, of course. But we still had to help him. It wasn't like we could just kick him back to the desert for the monsters, after all, and Sadie seems to get along with him.

Anyway, we landed at the front of Brooklyn House, Freak landing with a screech.

'FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!' He announced.

Chris admired the building as Sadie hopped off the boat.

'This place is big!' He said.

I into the Duat and got him some more frozen turkey. As I was feeding him, Chris walked up to me and examined the Griffin in wonder.

'Not everyday you see something like this, huh?' I told him.

'Yeah. I've never seen anything like this a day ago. That Duat thing you do, how does it work?'

'You want to learn it? It's basically your own locker, or safe. You can store anything inside it, without any worries of space.'

'Really?'

'Yeah! It takes a great deal of concentration though, but it's worth it instead of carrying a whole bag full of equipment.'

'Yeah. Also doubles as a refrigerator, hey?'

'What?' Confused, I looked at my frozen turkey.

I laughed. 'Yeah, sure does.' The guy was pretty funny.

'Come on!' Sadie was already at the entrance. 'You're keeping me waiting!'

I followed Chris into Brooklyn house as Sadie led the way. Chris looked around in amazement, shocked by everything he saw.

'This is so cool!' He gasped.

'It get's better!' Sadie announced. She strode towards the Great room, where everyone should be right now. We followed her as she turned a corner and found our trainees lounging around, Jaz, our healer, supervising everyone.

'Hello everyone! We're back!' She said brightly.

They got up and started surrounding her.

'What did you find?' Cleo asked.

'Did you kill something?' Shelby carried on.

'Did anything go wrong?' Jaz questioned Sadie.

'Ok ok! Calm down everyone!' Sadie said. 'We found someone, we didn't kill anything, and nothing went wrong. Now meet Christopher Wildflight, our new trainee!'

Startled, Chris stepped forward. He raised his hand in greeting.

'J-just call me Chris!' He replied, obviously unprepared for the sudden introduction. 'I'm a son of-'

I quickly clamped my hand against his mouth. 'I think you should keep this a secret for a little while.' I whispered urgently in his ear. He nodded in understanding, then turned towards our confused trainees.
