The next day was one of my favorites. A Saturday! The day where I can just relax and do nothing....except when my brother makes me.

Me:I don't want to go get groceries! You know I like to relax on Saturdays!

Shoukku:Then you can relax after you buy what we need! Now take the list and get going!

Me:Screw you, I'm not going!

Shoukku:And I say you are!

Me:As if!

Before he could say anymore, I ran out of the house. I hated it when he wanted me to do something on a day where I just want to relax. As I was walking, I felt like I was being watched. Just then, I heard my name being yelled out. I turned to see someone running at me. Well if it wasn't the moron that can't learn when to stop. Miki. I wasn't in the mood for him. Luckily for me he didn't talk much this time. He talked for a few seconds then charged, fists clenched. As usual, I dodged but I didn't attack. I didn't want to hurt him again. Annoying as he was. I looked at his hand I had hurt yesterday. It was bandaged and still bleeding a bit. I looked at Miki in surprise when I saw the look in his eyes. It wasn't fear this time but determination. He really wanted to beat me. I snapped out of my thoughts and dodged another punch. I quickly put my hand into a fist and punched Miki in the stomach. I knew to hold back. I pulled back quickly after my fist made contact. Miki fell to the ground and I continued walking. Just then, I heard what sounded like a fan girl scream. And I mean the kind that you hear at a concert when one individual is trying to be heard over the other screaming fans. It nearly busted my eardrums. I turned to see some girl running towards me. She was going top speed from the looks of it and before I could react, I was tackled onto the ground. I got my head together and looked at the girl on top of me. Don't get the wrong idea. She had long, orange hair and her eyes were a light silver. A very interesting combination. She was smiling at me.

Girl:Hi, my name is Mon Kimura! I saw what you did too that guy and I loved it! You're really strong!

Me:Umm... thanks. Now can you get off of me?

Mon:Oh! Sorry.

She helped me up and I was about to continue walking when I heard Mon talking. I turned to see what she was talking to me about when I saw that she wasn't talking to me at all. But to something next to her. I looked at her in confusion. She finally looked at me then smiled.

Mon:Don't worry, I was just talking to a spirit. I'm able to talk to them and see them.

Me:Ok. And you're telling me, why?

Mon:Because you were looking at me weirdly and also because I know your secret.

What? WHAT?! Not again. Now another person found out my secret. Does she want to blackmail me too? I looked her with a scowl.

Me:And how do you know?

Mon:The spirits told me. They know everything about you. They are the spirits that have been with you since you were born.

Me:What are you talking about?

Mon:Well, when a person is born, spirits attach to that person and watch over them for their entire lives until they die and become a spirit themselves. Then those same spirits look for and watch over another person. Your spirits told me your secret.

Me:Well, then you must know what I do in my free time if they told you all about me. So I'd like to be left alone.

Mon:Aww but I wanted to hang out.

Me:Why?

Mon:Because you're just so cool! Besides, I know about you but you don't know that much about me.

Me:Ok but what all do you know? I want to see how much the spirits told you.

Mon:Well...

She then told me everything she knew from my favorite color to my favorite food, what I do to people like Miki to what happened to me when I was eight and how I got my powers. Even what happened with Roka. Everything. By the time she finished, I believed her. Her spirits were informative.

Mon:So now can I tell you about me?

Me:Sure. Why not?

She then began to tell me all about herself and how she was born with the ability to see and talk to spirits. What really interested me was when she told me that she is able to harness different powers from different spirits. By the time she was done, the sun was nearly setting. I looked at it. The day had gone by fast. I looked at Mon who was talking to what seemed like another spirit. I told her I was leaving so we said goodbye and went on our way to our homes. When I returned, Shoukku was waiting for me in the kitchen. Great. Yoroshii better plug his ears or else he'll need hearing aids.

Shoukku:Look whose finally back. Considering you didn't go get groceries, what were you doing?

Me:That doesn't concern you.

Shoukku:As your brother it does.

Me:So now you want to play the brother card? Well, you're 16 years too late.

Shoukku:And what does that mean?

Me:Does it matter?

Shoukku:Yes it does. I'm supposed to take care of you and look after you but you keep pushing me away and not telling me anything.

Me:Get used to it. I did.

Shoukku:Will you just talk to me!

Me:Fine! You want to talk! Lets talk about how you've never cared for me since I was born!
