I was controlling the darkness. I was flipping cars, breaking windows of both cars and stores, and even dragging some people into the dark abyss that I created. I couldn't stop. I was destroying everything. I could hear people screaming and see them running away. I was getting even angrier. But not at the people. At me. I couldn't control myself. I hated not being able to make my own choices. My demon side was taking me over and controlling my every move. That was what I hated. I was still going on a rampage when I noticed someone standing in my way. It was Mon. She was standing in my path with her arms folded and a scowl formed in her face.
Mon:Is this necessary Shichi? What happened to that super strength you always use against Miki. Use that against your demon side.
I could hear her but I didn't answer. I was slowly slipping away while my demon side was taking me completely over little by little. I knew I couldn't respond to her or do anything to stop my demon side. It was pointless. Mon was still talking and trying to talk some sense into me.
Mon:Shichi! Listen already! Stop destroying everything and come to your senses!
I didn't listen. I had grabbed a lamppost and swung it at Mon. She dodged and sighed. She placed her hands together and looked at me with a sad expression.
Mon:Sorry Shichi. But you left me no choice. Spirit of the mind!
She then sat on the ground and closed her eyes. A small glow began to escape from her and she connected her mind to mine. This must be one of her powers. We were now psychically linked. She was now inside my mind and saw everything I did. I was in a dark part of my own mind, unable to do anything to stop the chaos the demon was making. Mon showed up and was trying to help me.
Mon:Is there some reason you're hiding in here and not stopping all this destruction?
Me:I'm not hiding.
Mon:Could have fooled me. You need to fight this and take back control.
Me:Easier said then done. I can't just flip a switch or press a button to stop all this and regain control of my body. Besides, this has never happened before. Whenever my demon side was free, I was able to suppress it right away. But this time, I can't even hold it back long enough for people to run away.
Mon:I've talked with a spirit that knows what is happening and how to stop it. The reason this is all happening is because of your sickness. It made your body so irritated and vulnerable that your demon side broke free and took over. Since you're still sick, you can't stop the demon. But I have an idea.
Me:Well hurry up and tell me.
Mon:First we need to restore your strength. I call upon the spirit of healing!
Just then, Mon began to glow with a strange light and held her hand out and placed it on the floor. Well, considering we were surrounded by nothing but darkness, I don't know what she had her hand on. It could have been the wall. When she did, I felt a surge of energy go through me. My migraine stopped and I felt my body getting cooler. I was rid of my sickness. Mon stood up and walked over to me. She put her hands together.
Mon:Spirit of the mind!
She placed a hand on my forehead and, before I knew it, I had regained control of my body and powers. I looked at Mon who was now standing, a big smile stretched across her face.
Mon:Yes! I did it!
Me:Thanks. And sorry for losing control.
Mon:Hey its not your fault. Blame the sickness that you caught. That's what allowed the demon to take over. By the way, I think we need to get you back to the hospital.
Me:Yea. You think anyone noticed me transform back.
We looked around but it seemed as though everyone had fled the scene. Considering all the flipped cars and almost everything burning in flames. Sometimes its good hiding your real identity. That way you don't have to pay for any damage you do. We arrived at the hospital and Shoukku was the first to greet me. More like yell at me. He complained about how I should have stayed in the hospital and not ran out considering everything that just happened outside. I looked at Mon who shrugged. She introduced herself, cutting off Shoukku's yelling and saving me. Thank you Mon! She told him a story about how she had found me ducked in an alleyway, behind a dumpster, hiding from whatever was causing the chaos. Not the best story of me but it worked on Shoukku. He believed that I would hide from something? That dumb ass doesn't know shit. Mon then left the hospital and after a few check ups fro the doctors they said I could go home. I apologized for the trouble I caused and went home. I was in my room, laying in my bed with Henshin on my stomach. I was thinking about everything that had happened since Wednesday. I suddenly get sick and I get mad for no reason. My body is then hijacked by my demon side and I go on a rampage and Mon has to save me. Now I'm fully recovered and I still don't know what caused me to get sick. Yet, all the while I was sick, I felt like someone was calling out to me and trying to get my attention. Well they got it. And the next time they do, I'll be putting a stop to it.
