Uh Oh

I called an uber and in five minutes it arrived. I arrived at the house and just locked myself in my room. I sat at the corner of the bed as the moment replayed in my head. I felt like punching a wall. *sigh* I needed to take a shower. I needed to clear my head. A part of me tugged on my heart. Suddenly everything made so much more sense. I li... 'NOPE! NA UH! STOP IT!' I told myself, 'you're not gonna have feelings for her. Remember she's just another girl. She'll break you, toy with you, and use you. Don't let some jealousy get the best of you!' My thoughts were interrupted when my phone rang. I checked the caller ID and saw it was Jack.
"Wassup?"
"Bro, where did you go? I can't find you anywhere"
"I went home, I was exhausted"
"Oh, well we're coming home anyways"
"Cool, I'll see you guys in a bit"
"Yeah um but first, this is a silly question but, do you know why Annelise is crying?"
"What? Nnnoooo"
"Hmmmmm, alright. Well we're all coming home in six minutes"
"Alright bye!"
Shit! Did she tell them about how I acted and what I said? That can't be good. If David found out that I acted like an asshole again, he's gonna be so mad. I might be done for. Shit! This isn't good! I picked up my phone and quickly called Annelise. It rang four times and went to voicemail. FUCK! I nervously waited for them to arrive, soon I saw her car roll up in the drive way. I ran to get the door. When I opened it I saw three angry bandmates, a crying girl, and an angry dj.
"Care to explain why you were such an asshole to Annelise?" Jack asked
"Look I can explain it all, but not now and not here. You guys know that if David found out, I'm done"
They're still mad at me but they soften their expressions once David walked in.
"Hey boys, how was the party? Oh.... Why is your new roommate crying?"
They all glanced at me at first but then she spoke up, "it's nothing, I just found out that my ... My dog died"
"Oh I'm so sorry, here lets go fix you up a nice warm cup of tea"
I wanted to say thank you but she wouldn't look me in the eyes as she walked passed.
