Hands off

We got ready and went down to the boardwalk where she was supposed to meet up with Nicholas. We sat at a far distance, far from her sights, but we were able to see her. We waited and waited for him to show up. Minutes, even hours, have passed and he was still a no show.

"Do you think he stood her up?" Daniel asked half-heartedly

"I don't think so if he did he has got some nerves to do that"

"I know you care about her but promise me you won't lay a finger on him"

"But if he di-"

"Promise me. I'm only looking out for you. David isn't going to give you 4 chances. You know the rule, 3 strikes and you're out"

"I know. *deep breath* I'm actually trying to control my jealousy"

"I believe you" he placed his hand on my shoulder

" *sigh* how much longer do we wait?"

We continued to wait, and with every passing minute, I got more and more bored. The sun was at its highest point already. I looked around for something to do and came across someone who looked an awfully like Nicholas. As I inched closer to him I realized it was Nicholas. He was at the boardwalk, not even 6 feet away, with another girl. Annelise checked her phone again. Not even noticing that he was right there. She finally left the boardwalk and went to her car. I watched as she drove out of the parking lot.

"That's him" I nodded in his direction. Daniel looked over and his jaw dropped.

"Anna?" I looked at who he was looking at and saw that the girl with Nicholas was Daniel's sister. He pushed everything in his way as he stormed over to her. And I literally meant, EVERYTHING. A little girl was eating her ice-cream and he pushed her, making her drop her ice cream. She cried and I apologized, bought another ice cream for her and followed him.

"Get your hands off my sister you creep" Daniel shoved Nicholas, sending him flying back on the sand.

"Dani? What are you doing?" Anna asked surprised

"I should be asking you the same thing! What are you doing in LA and what are you doing with him?"

"He's just a friend i promise. Don't tell Mom and Dad, they think I'm with Charlotte"

"Why did you lie to them?"

"Cuz they didn't want me to be hanging out with him"

"They know who he is?" He scowled at her, which he rarely did

"Yeah and they said he was a bad influence"

"THEN WHY ARE YOU HANGING OUT WITH HIM?!"

"Cuz.... cuz"

Nicholas put his arm around Anna's waist and that made Daniel boil

"GET. YOUR. HANDS. OFF. MY. SISTER!"
He shoved him and threw in a few punches. I tried holding him back.

"LET ME GO JONAH!"

"NO! DANIEL STOP!" I held him back until he caught his breath.

"Daniel.... you made me promise not to lay a finger on him, yet here you are shoving him. You need to relax"

"His arms were around my sister! Imagine if that was Esther! Or even Svea!"

"I know why you did that but it's still wrong"
