Roommates [Jonah Marais]

busted

We stayed at the party and actually had a decent time. The only problem was i couldn't find Annelise anywhere. I looked everywhere for her and I still couldn't find her, the sun was setting and a few people were leaving. I decided to look outside but I was too late, Annelise was in a car. That can only mean one thing, she's drunk. That or she's getting kidnapped by someone. So that's technically two things. But I had to act fast. Quick Jonah think! Think! I called her phone but it went straight to voicemail. I gotta act quick! I ran after the car but i was left in their dust. Time to call for help.
"Hello?"
"Hey Jack! I need your help..."
I explained what happened and within 6 minutes he came in a car with Daniel and Corbyn.
"What happened?" Daniel asked
"Didn't Jack explain what happened?" I asked impatiently
"you gave him very little information"
"What do you mean?! Urgh look," i placed two fingers and rubbed my temple. "we don't got time to explain every detail. Long story short, Annelise is wasted and she got in a car with Nicholas and his buddies"
"Are you sure it's Nicholas?" Corbyn asked
"Who else would it be?"
"Well not Nicholas, cuz he's right there"
He pointed to Nicholas leaning against the wall and drinking his drink.
"Did you try calling her?" Daniel asked
"No, i saw her get in a suspicious car with people I didn't know... OF COURSE I CALLED! It went straight to voicemail"
"Ight chill, no need to be rude about it"
"Sorry I'm just worried, that's all. I'm worried"
"Hey," Dani placed his hand on my shoulder, "we'll find her, don't worry"
We looked around for her, finally just when we were about to give up, I got a phone call from the police.
"Hello?"
We got down to the police station and found out that Annelise was under arrest.
"What happened?!"
"Your friend here," the cop nodded in her direction, "was charged with breaking and entering"
"ANNELISE!" we groaned
"I didn't do anything, I don't even know what I'm doing here" She said defensively
"there was footage of you breaking in the house" the cop said with her arms cross
"But i didn't do it!"
"Perhaps you would like to call a lawyer?" Her eyebrows raised
"I don't have a lawyer" Annelise muttered
There was a long silence. "We'd like to pay her bail" Corbyn apologetically smiled at the officer
