I knocked on her door and waited for an answer. No response. I knocked again and this time I heard a loud sigh, a second later she opened the door ajar but it was more than enough to see her face.

She hesitated

"Fine" she rolled her eyes

She opened the door wider and let me in. I stopped dead in my tracks, for someone who just moved in that day, she already got herself comfortable as if this was her own house. But that wasn't what stopped me. What stopped me was what she wore as pajamas.

"Is that... is that my hoodie?"

"hmm? Oh yeah, sorry I didn't have any clothes and I just saw this hoodie hanging in the laundry room. I didn't know it was yours. I'll take it off if you want"

"No, no it's fine"

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, besides you look better in it than when I wear it"

"Thanks, so what do you want to explain"

"I want to explain why I was just a dick to you. I'm sorry, trust me I'm normally not like that. I'm a supportive person, I am a protective person. I always feel like I should protect what is mine -"

She laughed and continued to read her book.

She held the book up to her face and just sat there without answering me.

The book in her hand was shaking and I heard a gasp for air. I realized that she was laughing so I walked toward the door. She ran to the door, hands covering her mouth because she was still laughing.

"Look I'm sorry for laughing, it's just," She's still laughing "it's just that it's really cute how you were jealous of Nicholas"
