Chapter 1: Best friends?

A six year old Dawn was sitting on a playground swing crying. She had been for the past five minutes. Why was she crying might you ask? Well Audrie Cortez had pushed her onto the sidewalk causing Dawn to scrape her knew on the pavement. It hurt her a lot, but she couldn't walk home from the pain. so she just sat there and cried until a boy came up her.

"Are you okay?" asked a seven year old Aiden. He had just bought himself an ice cream and was going to sit on a bench when he saw the girl crying.

Dawn being shy didn't respond, but instead shook her head. Aiden then noticed her bleeding knee.

"What happened to you knee," he asked.

"A girl pu-pu-pushed me on the si-si-side-wa-wa-walk,"stuttered Dawn.

"That wasn't nice. She's a meanie," said Aiden trying to get Dawn to smile. It worked. Dawn looked up at him and smiled a little timid smile. Aiden returned it and then offered her his ice cream. "Here you can have it," he said, "so it can make you feel better."

Dawn took the ice cream cautiously and took a careful bite. Dawn looked at Aiden who had sat next to her and he smiled at her encouraging her to continue eating the ice cream.Once she was done she thanked him.

"Thank you for the ice cream," Dawn said shyly.

"Your welcome. What's you name," asked Aiden.

"Dawn, what's your name," Dawn replied.

"Aiden," he paused then continued," Do you want to be my best friend?"

Danw  looked at him surprised, but then smiled and nodded. Adam smiled back and then gave Dawn a kiss on the cheek. They talked for a while and found out they were neighbors. They walked home and decided to go to the park the next day to play. And that's how their friendship began.

~10 years later~

Wack...THUMP!

I fell off my bed and saw Aiden laughing his butt off. In his hand he had a pillow,so I'm guessing he hit me the pillow.

"Aiden! What the hell was that for?!" I yelled at him.

It took him a while to stop laughing. "Well little miss princess wouldn't wake up, so  I had to try."

"Jerk,"  I mumbled.

"Love you too cupcake," he smiled at me while offering me a hand. i rolled my eyes while taking his hand. He pulled me up and gave me a hug. I liked having him close, it made me feel safe.

"Good morning beautiful," he said.

"Morning handsome," I replied with a smile. I moved out of his embrace and made my way toward my closet.

"Is there a reason why your here so early?" I asked him.

"Not really, I was just really bored, so I decided to come wake you up." I could here the smile in his voice.

"Nice,"  I chuckled. I picked out an outfit and turned to show it to Aiden. He looked at it ans he shook his head. I turned around to find something else. "So picky" I mumbled.

"I heard that," he whispered right behind me. I jumped at the sound of his voice and turned around fast. I crashed into his chest and stumbled back. Aiden's arms snaked around my waist. I looked up at him and he had a smirk on his lips. I could fell my cheeks warming up and I knew I was blusing. I looked away.

Aiden chuckled soflty and I looked back at him. He was leaning toward me and my heart starting beating overtime. Was he going to kiss me, I thought in my head. He kept leaning toward me but then he reached behind me and got something from my closet.

"Here wear this vest with your Paramore tee shirt and some skinnies," he said as he handed me the clothes. And no Aiden is not gay, I have nothing against them I've always wanted a gay friend, Aiden just has a very good fashion sense which is really creepy sometimes.I took the clothes from him and asked him what shoes i should wear. He told me to wear my heeled boots.I got my boots and turned to look at him.

"I need to change," I told him.

"By all means go ahead. I'll just sit here and enjoy the show," he replied with  a wink. I turned red, but tried to cover it by giving him a look.

"Get out of my room you pervert," I teased him.

"Ouch you wound me girl," he said while pretending to be hurt, "But alas I'll leave. You won't let me have my fun," he finished off dramatically as he exited my room. I couldn'y help but laugh, Aiden was beyond hilarious. I finished changing quickly and went to meet Aiden in the Kitchen. He was sitting on the counter looking expectantly at me. I knew that look.

" What doyou want for breakfast lazybutt," I sighed.

"Egg and cheese omelet please," he said with a goofy grin on his face. I rolled my eyes and started cooking some breakfast. I often did this for Aiden and I honestly didn't mind, i just pretended like i did. After breakfast I got into Aiden's car and we drove to school.

On the way, the song Cinema by Skrillex came on and Aiden and I started singing it. This was favorite song and I secretly dedicated it to Aiden. It took us 10 minutes to get to school and when we wrrived we saw our best friends Skylar and Demetri Stevens waiting for us by their car. Aiden and me got of the car and Aiden put his arms around my shoulders. We walked toward them.

"Hello my dears," said Skylar in her usual hyper mood.

"Hey Sky," Aiden and I said at the same time. Sky hugged me awkwardly since Aiden still had his arm around me.

"Shesh Aiden," Sky said sarcastically," would it hurt you to shared Dawn a little."

Aiden smirked," Yes it would. I don't like sharing and you should know that by now Sky."

"Loser," muttered Sky. I just turned red...again and I heard Demetri chuckle.

"Would you look at that . I didnt think anyone could turn that red. Well i guess you proved me wrong," Demetri teased.

"Why must you always tease me?" I asked sarcastically.

"Because it's fun," Aiden, Skylar, and Demetri said at the same time.

I scowled at them. I got our of Aiden's embrace, crossed my arms and pouted. Sky laughed making me pout even more. Aiden tried to hug me but I would walk away from him.

"Daan," Aiden chuckled," I'm sorry. You know I love you!"

"Sure, sure," I said while walking away. Me being the klutz I am ran into someone. Their arms engulfed me to keep me from falling.

"You know if you wanted me to hold you, all you had to do was ask," chuckled a familiar voice.

"Aundre," i said with venom.
