*Three Months Later*
Dawn’s POV
Three months have passed since Aiden came back. He didn’t really talk to me at first, but lately he was warming up to me. Smiling when we’d run into each other, saying hi, he’s even checked in on me a few times. Shane and I were doing great and I was falling in love with him with every day that passed by. He was the best boyfriend a girl could ask for. Sweet, caring, smart, funny, and a big teddy bear. He was also okay with Aiden talking to me. He didn’t feel threatened by him at all and he really shouldn’t. Aiden was my past. Shane was my present and most likely my future.
“Dawn? Earth to Dawn!,” someone waved their hand in front of my face.
“Huh? What?” I asked dazed.
“I said we need to go shopping for dresses for Winter Formal! Girl you have been spacing out a lot today is everything okay?” Sky asked me worried.
“Yeah I’m okay sorry! I was just thinking. But anyways when do you want to go?”
“Today after school?”
“Sure let me just tell Blade.”
“Oh don’t worry I have it covered. He’s taking us,” Sky smiled cheekily.
“You seriously have my brother wrapped around your finger don’t you,” I giggled softly.
Sky just winked at me. That girl. Her and my brother were still going strong. They were the picture perfect couple. I never pictured my brother and best friend as a couple, but now that they are together I can not imagine them dating anyone else. Sure it was weird at first with all the PDA and stuff, but they are absolutely perfect for each other. Unfortunately for me I accidentally walked in on them…you know…getting down and dirty. Let’s just say I couldn’t look at either one of them for a week. I get the chills just remembering. Shane laughed at my misfortune. Demetri on the other hand went a bit crazy and almost killed my brother. I think that was the first time Skylar and Demetri ever really fought because Sky literally moved in with me and Shane for about two weeks before Demetri came and apologized…on his knees.
I noticed Sky turn slightly green, but before I could ask her if she was alright she bolted towards the girls restroom. I was quick to run after her and I found her in a stall throwing up her breakfast.
