I finally made it back home. I brought the pizza inside and set it on the counter, it was still warm. I put everything back to where things were. Christy wasn't in the living room, I looked in my room, she wasn't there but I did see the bathroom door closed and I heard a hair dryer. I put the other hoodie and the gloves in the wash and went back to my room. I looked at Christy's bag on the floor. I was curious of what could be in it. I rummaged through her bag until I felt something that felt like a book. I pulled it out and I saw that it was Christy's diary. It was one of those diaries that had a lock on it. I looked around for the key but then I heard the bathroom door open. I quickly put the diary back in her bag and sat on the bed like nothing happened. Christy walks into the room and looks at me with a smile.
"What took you so long?" Christy asked.
"There was a line and then there was a little bit of traffic," I replied.
"Oh okay."
"Yeah the pizza may be a little cold, I hope that's okay."
"Don't worry it's fine."
"Alright, well do you have anything in mind for something we can watch on Netflix?"
"I might just need to look around."
We went downstairs and sat down on the couch with the box of pizza in both our laps. We searched through the lists of movies until we decided to watch Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back while we ate. Later when we were done with the pizza and the movie was over, I was started to feel that lust, the same as the night at Vandal View. Something about this feeling was on a much higher level. There was a knock on the door. I went to answer, it was Officer Ramstoke.
"Hello Officer, what brings you around here tonight? Have you caught that guy yet?"
"No but I was wondering if you have been at the gas station up the road lately?"
"Yeah I got a pizza from there."
Christy walked over and wrapped her arms around me and looked at Tim.
"What's going on Ben?" Christy asked now looking at me.
"I have no idea but you remember Officer Ramstoke right?"
"Oh yeah. Hello Officer."
What a great girlfriend I have, I thought.
"Hello Christina. Anyway, Ben, did you notice any suspicious activity up by the gas station?"
"No, why?" I replied.
"Another student died, Frank Fisher."
"Really?"
"Yeah, you didn't see Frank or anyone else when you were up there?"
"No sir, I didn't see him."
"It's your birthday today right?"
"Yes sir, I turn eighteen."
"Oh, well happy birthday."
"Thank you sir."
"It's also your parents anniversary isn't it?"
"Yes sir."
"Ok well thanks again for your cooperation and I'll be off. Have a good nght now ok?"
"Ok thanks you too Officer."
Tim leaves and Christy and I go back to sitting on the couch.
"What should we watch next?" Christy asked.
"I don't know, it's up to you," I replied.
"How about we watch Grave Encounters 2?"
