So we went to the beach. The beach was called Sunset Coast, mainly because where it was, the sunsets were so enchanting. I parked up in the parking lot on the pier. The pier was somewhat crowded. We played a few games, didn't really win any of them but we had fun anyway. We sat on a bench and watched people pass. There were a lot of girls in bikinis and dudes in muscle shirts and baggy shorts. One girl walked right passed us, Christy sighed in disappointment.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I wish I could be beautiful like that," She replied.

"Christy, you don't need to look like that to be beautiful."

"Well it's better than what I look like now."

"No it really isn't, if you be yourself, someone will love you."

"You mean that?"

"Yeah, I bet you have someone who really likes you right now. Someone who wants you to always be yourself and never follow the stuck up trends the other girls follow."

She looks right at me.

"Who that could be?" She asked.

I looked right into those beautiful eyes of hers.

"Someone who felt the same way about himself but then realized it was foolish to be someone he's not."

Wow, that was so cheesy I could almost taste it, Jason rudely remarked.

Kiss her! Jay exclaimed.

Oh I wanted to, very badly, but it was only the second day we've known each other. I want to know if she actually would stay with me, if she'll love me for the monster I am becoming. As much as I cared for her, I wanted to know if she cares for me.

"So what do you want to do now?" Christy asked, snapping me out of my little zone out.

"Oh, um, I don't know actually," I answered, thinking of some sort of excuse to leave for a second.

"Okay, well how-"

"Could you excuse me for a second."

"Sure."
