We continued to watch the movie and eventually Christy fell asleep on me. There was a knock on the door. I didn't want to wake her up.

"Who is it," I said as loud as I could without waking up Christy, which apparently she's a sound sleeper.

"It's Shawn."

"And Raven."

"Come in but be quiet."

Shawn and Raven open the door and walk straight to the living room.

"Isn't this cute," Raven had a little bit of a sarcastic tone to her voice.

"Don't act like I haven't walked in on you guys doing this," I replied.

"He's got us there," Shawn replied.

"Yeah Shawn, but usually you wake my ass up."

"True."

"Why are you guys here exactly?"

"Raven and I were wondering if you and Christy would want to hang out today. Since we didn't the other day. Unless you guys are having like a lazy day."

"I don't know guys, let me ask her."

I nudged Christy a little bit to wake her up.

"What's going on?" Christy asked as she rubbed her eyes.

"I'm sorry to wake you babe but Shawn and Raven were wondering if we'd be interested in a double date. I'm all for it but it's up to you."

"Sure, just you guys need to let us get ready."

"Alright, we'll be waiting outside."

I watched as Shawn and Raven leave the house and I then look at Christy.

"Are you sure you want to go out?"

"Of course, Ben, I don't normally say things unless I mean it."

"Alright."

"Now, let's get ready. I want time to just us tomorrow, alright."

"I'll make sure of it."

Christy and I got up off the couch, showered, got dressed and were back at the door within fifteen minutes.

"So what do you got planned?" I asked.

"Well we can start at the bowling alley and see where we go from there."

"Alright, that's fine."

"Keep in touch over Zello. You remember the channel right?"

"Yeah I remember."

We walked to our cars and drove off.

"Ben, you there?"

"Yeah Shawn, I'm here."

"Alright, good, I was just checking."

It was around eleven when we got to the bowling alley. We got there, got set up and made our teams, Shawn and Raven on one team, Christy and I on the other. Christy and I weren't that bad together, we were quite a bit better than Shawn and Raven. It came down to the last frame, Raven and Shawn had caught up to us it was up to Christy to win the game for us. When she does just that, we briefly celebrated and then we discussed what we could do next.

"So what should we do?" I asked.

"Well if any of you are hungry, we can always stop by the diner," Shawn replied.

"Yeah sure that doesn't sound like a bad idea."

So we left the bowling alley and headed off to Jake's Diner. When we arrived, we were all going to head inside, I was the last to head inside. Before I went in, something stopped me. Then I heard I someone talk to me.

"The criminal normally returns the scene of the crime."

I looked around and saw no one. Who was that? I asked myself. I shook the thought away and continued to head inside. The others and I had small talk about what's been going on recently as we waited for Trish to come back with the stuff we ordered. There was music playing from somewhere. The song It's Over When It's Over by Falling In Reverse was playing. There wasn't anyone in the diner besides us. So I started to lose myself in the music and started singing. I looked around at the others.

"I see you still sing," Shawn said.

"On occasion." I replied.

"Well I've never heard you sing before." Christy stated.

"I never really thought about for a while."

"Well maybe you should think about it more often."

"Maybe I will."

"Hey Ben, maybe we should get the band together?"

"That wouldn't be a bad idea Shawn. But we're down two people."

"True, I'm sure we could find some people."

"Hey guys, well here's your food, but hey do you guys still perform at all?" Trish said as she came back.

"No but we're thinking about getting the band back together except we're going to need some new people."

"Well when you guys get some people together, I can help you guys out with any performances."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Like I could help book some places for you guys to play at, I know a few people."

"Yeah, that would be good, we'll keep that in mind."

"Also did you know that there's a couple's karaoke night at the old snowmobile club building."

"When is it?"

"From seven to ten."

"Alright, thanks Trish."

"No problem, and here's my number when you want me to book you somewhere."

Trish gave me her number then left us be from then on.

"So Shawn."

"So Ben."

"Are you up for that?"

"Yeah man, let's do it."

"Alright well it's only like twelve, so what are going to do for seven hours?"

"Bowling and maybe a movie."

"Yeah that could work."
