~3rd Person P.O.V.~

Jenny made an annoyed sound as she paced the surface of the dark container Derrick had put her in. "I don't know why the stupid jerk had to lock me in here while he went to whatever thing he said he had to do!" She shouted to no one. She didn't know how long she'd been trapped, or even how much longer she would be.All she knew was that if she and Derrick were still the same height, she'd have kicked his ass.

There was a sudden jerking motion that made her fall back on her butt as light flooded into the darkness, practically blinding her as she groaned in annoyance again. Looking upward she could see Derrick grinning down at her. "Sorry I locked you in my drawer pet." He said with an almost girly giggle.

"Apology accepted," Jenny mumbled sarcastically and rose to her feet, dusting off her jeans and t-shirt the Calinthro had let her change into before he dropped her in what she now knew was a drawer. "What did you have to go do?"

"One second, let me get you out of there and I'll show you." His hand loomed over her, casting a large shadow before his fingers gently curled around her and lifted her from the hard surface. Looking closely she saw his other hand curled around something, but she couldn't make out what. This thankfully though distracted her from the gross, warm feeling his hand gave off.

"Oh, the suspense is killing me." She grumbled, surprised when the demon chuckled in response.

"This is why I wanted you. You're smart, beautiful, funny. Everything perfect about any mortal. Your grandma really raised you well."

Her grandma. The old woman was probably worried sick! Jenny hadn't even thought about what her disappearance would do to her grandmother! Especially after her own daughter and son-in-law disappeared all those years ago. The poor woman would probably be heartbroken when she doesn't return home, and when the police aren't able to find a body.

"M-My grandma..." She said sadly, tears threatening to fall from her eyes for the first time since he took her. She never cried in front of anyone but her grandmother. It made her feel weak, and it would really make her feel that way if she cried in front of a boy that was hundreds of times bigger than herself.

She gave a small yelp when his hand disappeared and she fell onto a soft pillow with an 'oof'. Jenny was about to give some sassy remark only to flinch away when his fist came down directly in front of her but was shocked with what happened next.

When his hand opened, a small gray kitten was deposited onto the pillow in front of the teen, though the poor thing looked terrified of Derrick. His hand even had tiny cuts all over it from the cat's claws. But when its own green eyes landed on Jenny, it dashed over into her arms as if for protection from the demon. "You...you got me a kitten?" She asked in disbelief, picking the bundle of fur off of the pillow.

"Well, I got a pet for a pet," Derrick said with a snicker. "But seriously. I remember things. You told me you wanted a kitten before, but could never have one because your grandmother was allergic. So I knew when I finally made you mine, I'd have to get you one. Trust me, I have a whole damned list of things to do to you, and for you."

"I don't know what to say Der- er, 'master'. Sh-She's beautiful." She had to force herself not to say his name as her hand stroked the soft fur. A smile began to even creep its way onto her face.

"I had a feeling you'd like it. All its items are in your room. Which I've been dying to show you." His deep voice said above her, and she could hear the childish grin in his tone. But this shocked her.

"My room?" She asked in a confused tone, her gaze never leaving the bundle of gray fur in her arms. Not even when to giant hands lifted her and the puffball both from the pillow.

"It's in here of course, I can't have my pet going too far away from me." The world was a blur as they moved, and when Jenny pried her eyes from the cat she nearly scoffed when she saw a closed cupboard door in front of her.

"Wow. Lovely. A cupboard."

"You haven't seen it yet." He whispered, moving her and the kitten into one palm while his now free hand gripped the cold handle and pulled the sliding cupboard door open.

What was inside nearly made Jenny gasp, but she kept the shocked look and tone to a minimum. The cupboard had two shelves. The top one was divided into two sections, a bedroom, and bathroom, each half with a curtain that she could pull if she was changing her clothes or taking a bath. It even had a ladder leading down to the bottom shelf, which consisted of a living room, complete with T.V., couch, coffee table, and bookshelf. On the other half of this one sat a table with a chair, a refrigerator, an oven, and cupboards built into the wall of the giant cupboard. It was almost like a mini apartment.

"You...did all of this...for me?" Jenny couldn't fight the shocked tone that found it's way to her voice, and she heard an amused chuckle from above her.

"Naturally. Dogs have dog houses, cats have weird scratching posts, and humans have apartments. Humans are normal here in the Underworld, especially in the area belonging to us Calinthro's. So we even have plenty of things ready." Derrick mumbled, his face smug and his heart overflowing with joy that she actually seemed to like it. But he always had to ask. "Do...you like it, my pet?"

Jenny opened her mouth to repond 'yes' but then she stopped. She was supposed to be angry at this demon. He ripped her away from her school. Her friends...her grandmother. And she had to hate him. She had to be as disobediant and sassy as possible to somehow make him take her back. "Are you serious?" She said with a growl in her tone, making herself sound as angry as she could. "How stupid are you?"
