Ashley's POV:
"What?" I asked quietly.
"We had to sedate Sam in order to get San accurate blood pressure when she refused to comply. We removed her jacket and saw scars from self harm. There were also bruises but they were less clear, her arms however were lined with scars both old and new, but the freshest seemed to be from a few days or maybe a week ago." The nurse replied.
I can't believe someone drove Sam to hurt herself like this. We need to talk to her. I need to help her through this, she deserves better.
"Can we see her?" I asked quickly.
"Yes but she isn't awake right now. She should be awake and responding within the hour. Considering she can't take them herself right now I'll give you her crutches." The nurse replied before turning around and grabbing two crutches and handing them to me.
"Do you think we could bring her home? I don't think she'll be too happy if she wakes up here..." I heard Andy say quietly.
"Well I'd usually have to deny that but considering how much of a fight she was putting up before I'll allow it because I don't wanna be on the other side of that." The nurse replied with a shiver. We nodded and followed her into a room where I saw Sam in her wheelchair, without her jacket.
Her arms were covered in scars, big, small, covering both of her forearms. I felt tears welling in my eyes as I took it al in. I held it together until I noticed the faint white lines in the opposite direction of the others. I couldn't tell how old they were but I could tell they were vertical, not horizontal. I quickly rushed to put her sweatshirt back on her, preventing Andy or the others from looking at her arms.
Jake and Kellin still don't know.
After getting the jacket back on her I pushed her chair out of the room and to the buildings exit. Once we reached the main doors I picked Sam up and carried her while Andy carried her crutches.
We made it back to the bus within 30 minutes and I put Sam in her bunk before meeting the others in the front lounge.
"Ash can I talk to you?" Andy asked. I nodded and followed him into the back lounge.
"Should we tell them?" He asked.
"I think we should talk to her before we tell them. She clearly didn't wan anyone to notice and I don't think she would be too happy if we went and spilled it to everyone. And besides, remember what the nurse said, the newest were from a few days ago at least, she must have stopped when she met us, maybe we're helping her more than we things." I replied.
"I just don't understand why?" He replied with s sigh.
I nodded before replying," Did you see any of the older ones, like almost a year old at least?" I asked.
"No, why?" He asked.
"I saw a vertical line."I said with a sigh before I felt the tears I'd been holding back fall down my face. I sipped them away quickly and saw and doing the same, a look of horror on his face even though he was clearly trying to hid it.
"I'm gonna lay down for a while." I said quietly as Andy went back into the front lounge where Jake and Kellin were sitting.
I climbed back into my bunk and lied down, looking at the wall, thinking of the day's events with a sigh.
"I need to know why" I whispered to myself before drifting into sleep due to exhaustion from the events of the day.
Sam's POV:
I woke up in my bunk but the last thing I remember was being at the clinic. What the hell? How did I get back here?
I hopped out of my bunk and landed on the ground when I remembered my ankle was broken. I grabbed onto the bunk before I fell. I had no idea where my crutches were and no way was o yelling for one of the guys to come carry me so I'll have to figure this out.
