Ashley's POV:
"Sam?" I call out behind me considering I have not heard from her in a while. I look back to see her standing as still as a statue, her breathing growing heavy as her eyes went wide in a full on panic attack."Sam! , I yell running over to her and also getting the others' attention but I didn't reach her in time before her body crumpled to the floor and lay there in a small heap.
"What happened?" I heard Jake say from behind me.
"I don't know. I turned around and she was a statue, mid panic attack." I said quietly. Before he could respond I had pulled Sam into my arms and picked her up, carrying her bridal style towards our dressing room. I placed her on the couch and asked CC to get some ice which he hurried back with and handed to me. I put the ice on Sam's forehead, hoping the cold will help relax her and help wake her up.
While waiting for Sam to wake up we all began to get ready for the show reluctantly, we can't let our fans down.
About five minutes later I turned around and saw Sam was awake, but hadn't made a sound. She was sitting up straight, huddled into the corner of the couch. I walked over and took a seat next to her on the couch, looking into her eyes, noticing how glassy and empty they looked.
"What happened?" I ask in a gentle voice.
"That... the... the guy who opened the door... I... I know h-him." She squeaked out.
"What?" I asked, my voice full of confusion.
"He- he went to- to school with- with me." She said, her breathing growing heavy again. I could tell she was scared, and for her to be scared, something must be wrong.
"Hey. Sam. Sam, you need to calm down. Breath. Nothing is going to happen. Not when I'm with you, not ever. Okay?" I said reassuringly, putting my arm around her shoulders. She nodded her head quickly, breathing deeply to control her breathing.
"I'm sorry I'm such a mess." She said once she had calmed down.
"It's fine." I said, looking up and noticing for the first time that the other guys had seen everything.
"So who is he for him to cause that kind of reaction from you. Cause by the looks of it, my money would be on you in a fight." CC said with a chuckle.
Am didn't laugh but surprise due with her answer, "He went to my high school. I have no clue why he would be working here of all places. He's the popular kid, the jock, homecoming king, prom king, king of the school, and basically the source of my torture... well outside of my house at least." She said quietly.
"How did some jock end up working in a concert venue?" Jake asked.
"I have no clue but I'm staying as far away from him as possible, but I'm done being scared of him, I swear to god if he comes within 10 feet me I'm going to knock out his front teeth, and that's being generous." She said, her voice laced with hatred and venom. I could tell she wasn't joking, and so could the others.
Just then there was a knock on the door.
"It's open!" Jake yelled. The door opened and Kellin stuck his head in. His face was full of confusion and what looked like jealousy when he saw my arm around Sam but then seemed to control himself once he saw the angry look that was on her still puffy face from the tears that were created during her panic attack.
