Ashley's POV:

"Hey guys PTV and ATL are in the city tonight for their tour and wanted to know if we could hang out, have a party?" Andy said from the other couch.

"What about the sws guys and Sam?" I asked.

"They're invited too, the others have heard about Sam and want to meet her, especially since she is dating Kellin now." He said, his eyes getting darker towards the end of the sentence.

"Then sure why not?" CC said from next to me and I nodde din response, the others doing the same.

~~~About 1 Hour Later~~~
I walked off of the bus and saw Sam do the same from the other bus which was right next to ours. I ran over and tackled her in a hug, telling her about the party.
After finally convincing her to go we decided to head into the venue and get something to eat after we set up our stuff even though we aren't playing till tomorrow.
"Um-Ashley?" Sam asked, getting my attention after I finished placing my bass on the rack next to the others once it was tuned.
"What's up?" I replied curiously.
"What the hell am I going to wear to the party? I don't have any nice clothes..." she trailed on.
"Well lucky for you, I just finished setting up my stuff. Grab anything you need, we're going shopping." I said confidently. Her eyes went wide but she did as I said and grabbed her phone and wallet before turning back to me. I mean she won't need her wallet but I didn't say anything as I led her outside. I looked up the closest mall and it wasn't too far so we decided to walk.
Once inside I led her to a store that had displays full of dresses and we began looking around.
"Ash!" I heard Sam call about 20 minutes later.
"Yeah?" I called back, trying to find her.
"How about this?" She asked, stepping out from behind a curtain. She was in a short black and red cocktail dress that matched her hair. I didn't say anything for a while, taking it in. It was amazing.
"That bad?" She asked with a sigh.
"No! Sam, you look- amazing." I said with a smile.
"Thank you. But there's one problem?" She said.
"What?" I asked.
"There are no sleeves..." she said quietly. That's when I realized she hadn't moved her arms from her sides. She was trying to hide her cuts.
"Sam. Don't be ashamed of them. They are battle scars, and none are fresh, you're getting better. Nobody at that party will judge you. I promise. You don't need to cover them." I said, pulling her arms from her sides, but she pulled away, hiding them again.
"Thanks Ash. But I'm not ready. Only 3 people know. Kellin doesn't even know yet. I can't tell him like this, please help me cover them." She said. I nodded with a sigh before responding.
"Well we have two options, well three really. 1. A jacket, but that would cover the dress so I vote against it. 2. Makeup 3. Bracelets/makeup with limited bracelets." I said.
"Makeup. I want to try to show as much as possible to start getting used to that kind of thing. Maybe it will help." She said with a shrug. I nodded before she went to change back into normal clothes. Once she was done I grabbed the dress and headed to the checkout area and bought the dress while Sam argues about me paying for it. We then went to get something to cover her arms and ended up with some makeup that matched her skin tone and made it seem like there was nothing underneath. It also didn't smudge.
