Neighbors

*Justin's POV*

We arrived at the airport and my dad looked at me with a smile "you ready?" He asked as I gave a faint smile and said "ready as ill ever be"

We got our bags and boarded the plane.

Once I sat down on the seat and I looked out of the window I decided to post a few things on my social media saying that I was moving to Minnesota unexpectedly and that I would keep them all updated.

I then put my headphones in and listened to my 'Blake Boys' playlist which was full of all my favorite songs that I love to sing and listen to with the Danny and Damon. I feel bad for dan cause he's trans too but hasn't come out and he has to live with our mom.. let's see how that all goes in the end. Hopefully good.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, letting myself drift off to sleep as the plane took flight.

*several hours later*

My dad started to lightly shake me "Justin, we are here." He said as I opened my eyes and nodded. We stood up and grabbed our luggage as we walked back and my dad got an uber to drive us to our new house.

As we got into the uber I checked all my social media and I saw several comments saying things like 'RAEGAN LIVES THERE!' 'That's where kale and jack are' 'oml yasss'

I was confused, I had heard those names before but I didn't know exactly who those people were. Hopefully they are nice and won't be like how most people are on social media.. where they are amazing and nice to their friends and family but to people at school or in their lives they are jerks and think they are better.

Once we arrived at the house, my did smiled at me and I forced a smile back. "Lets go!" He said as I nodded and got out.

We walked into the house and I looked around as I stood in the entry way, it wasn't too small but wasn't too big. It was a good house for me and my dad to live in.

My das told me to go check out my room and I did as he told. My room was kind of like a basement but it was my room. It was pretty cool and I was excited to set up things to do videos down here. I liked it.

As I was finishing up unpacking I heard a knock at the door and I ran up and got it.

When I opened it, there stood a woman that was about my dad's age and a boy that was about my age. The boy had brown hair and the perfect jaw line. He was slim and kind of perfect. I realized that he was wearing a binder cause it was partially see through in his shirt so it made me happy cause he was trans too.

"Uhm hi" I said in a voice that was the most masculine voice I could do. I still sounded like a 13 year old when I was really 16 but that didn't matter too much.. I hope.

"Hello, we so the moving boxes and wanted to say hi. We are your neighbors, we live across the street from you. I'm Kathy (Idk I made up a name😂) and this is my son, Raegan" she said and held out her hand for me to shake. We shook hands and I gave a faint smile.

"Yea, my name is Justin." I said as my dad walked over to us and shook the lady's hand "and I'm his father, David." He said with a friendly smile.

"Great! So, We wanted to know if you guys wanted to maybe come over for dinner later so we could meet and get to know each other." She said as my dad smiled "that would be lovely."

Raegan stayed silent and didn't say anything to me but I just assumed he was shy so I didn't think anything of it.

"Great! Come on over in a few hours then. We can't wait to get to know you. If you need anything at all then let us know." She said in a friendly voice and my dad nodded "same here. Thank you. See you later." He said as they left and he shut the door an looked to me.

"You might have a friend in the neighborhood after all!" My dad said with a smile and I forced myself to smile too so that he was happy.

I went back downstairs and sighed, let's hope that this would all go over well cause I don't want to end up having the first potential friend I meet to hate me.

Let's hope for the best.
