Scars (A Jaegan Fan Fic)

Raining

*Raegan's POV*

It was pouring rain out side, as I laid in my bed I listened to the sound of each rain drop hitting my ceiling and window as I hummed to myself.

Instead of hearing more rain, by my surprise I heard as the doorbell started to ring from downstairs, I was confused as i wasn't expecting anyone, especially not at this hour.

Making my way downstairs, I slowly reached for the door knob and opened it to see a boy with dripping wet brown hair, he was wearing a hoodie that was drenched in rain and he hung his head down. The boy fidgeted his fingers as if he was nervous but you could visibly see him shaking as he was wet and cold.

I recognized the boy in front of me as Justin. "Oh my god! Justin! What are you doing out in the pouring rain? Come in!" I told him as I gestured for him to come inside, he stepped in as I grabbed a towel and wrapped him in it as I shut the door. Justin's teeth chattered as he shivered making me frown.

"How about I get you some nice dry and warm clothes while you dry off so you can get cozy, we can cuddle together and you can tell me what's wrong, alright?" I cooed, trying to make the cold and sad boy In front of me, happy and warm again. Justin nodded as I sighed.

Running upstairs, I grabbed one of my sweatshirts and a pair of sweatpants. I threw them as well as a blanket in the dryer for a few minutes so that they were all nice and warm.

Once I was finished, I went to Justin and looked at him "want me to help you change?" I asked in a low and soothing voice as he nodded. I took off the shirt he was wearing and looked at his binder to see that there was visual bruising on the sides of his ribs.

Justin must have been wearing it for longer than he was supposed to. I softly ran my finger across the bottom hemp of the material as I looked up at him and we finally made eye contact for the first time since he arrived.

"May I?" I asked in a soft voice as he inhaled, taking a deep and shaky breath as he nodded slowly. I placed my hand on the material and slid it off of him. The second I slipped it off, Justin covered his chest with his hands.

I put my hands over his arms and sighed "baby.. I won't judge you. I promise. You are handsome and I love every part of you." I told him as he nodded and slowly moved his arms away, revealing a bruised chest.

Justin sighed and looked at me as I lightly smiled and placed two small kisses on his chest "I love every part of you, you should too." I told him as I saw him lightly smile.

I put the warm sweatshirt on him as he smiled and hid his face in it "it's so cozy and it smells like you!" Justin mumbled, finally talking for the first time since his arrival. I let out a small chuckle as I helped him put on the sweat pants.

Justin smiled as I picked him up bridal style and carried him to my couch, placing him down and sitting next to him. I wrapped both of us in the warm blanket as his smile got big which made me smile too. "All better?" I asked him as he nodded. "Th-Thank you..." he mumbled as I placed a kiss on his forehead.

"Anything for you baby boy. Now, what's wrong? Why did you come here? Not that it's a problem or anything but usually you would tell me first." I told him as Justin took a breath and looked up at me and placed a kiss on my lips. "You saved my life Raegan... several times..." Justin admitted to me as my eyes widened.

"I saved your life? How?" I asked, honestly in shock. Justin frowned "the video you sent me... I watched it as I was writing my suicide note. I was about to kill myself. You saved me." Justin's words sounded broken and I broke just listening to him. "W-What... why?" I asked.

"I had been planning it for a week.. planning my suicide.." Justin admitted as I shook my head in disbelief. "why... why Justin? I can't live without you! I need you!" I admitted, tears springing to my eyes as I stood up.

Justin stood up right after, his eyes glazing over with tears "I didn't know that! I thought..." he stopped yelling as he sat back down and I sat as well. Justin looked down "I thought that you would be better off if I was just gone, you and everyone else."

I felt as tears rolled down my cheeks and I held in my sobs, trying to stay strong. "But I would break without you! You give my life purpose! I love you!" I told him as he closed his eyes and took a breath. "I was so used to having people leave me and so I tried not to get attached.. I didn't want you to do the same thing to me.."

I couldn't hold back any more. I let out a sob as I placed my hands, cupping his cheeks and pulling him close for a passionate and emotional kiss. The sparks flew like they always did. I pulled away and we leaned our foreheads against each other's.

"thank you for saving me, I love you raegan Alexander beast, with all my heart."

Justin said as a tear rolled down his cheek. I took my thumb, lightly wiping his tears away as our eyes met and we both lightly smiled.

"thank you for giving my life purpose, I love you Justin Drew Blake, with all my heart."

Our lips pressed together as we exchanged a kiss, he then rested his head on my chest and closed his eyes drifting off to sleep. I smiled seeing the boy in my lap and closed my eyes, falling asleep soon after, thinking of how much I love this boy, he is my everything.

If only Justin realized, that everyone has scars, some people just have them in different ways.

I need to show him that.. somehow...
