We spent about five days in the city, just enjoying what Los Angeles had to offer. We visited the wax museum, where celebrities like Zac Effron, Britney Spears, Audrey Hepburn, Michael Jackson, Carrie Underwood, Simon Cowell, and many other familiar faces. After the waax museum, we spent the day on the same area, visiting the Kodak and Chinese theatres, and taking pictures with the stars on the walk of fame. My brother basically ran around the marble-floored sidewalk as he tried to find the star Michael Jackson was in. When he found it, he took a lot of pictures with different poses.
The next day, we spent our day in the Santa Monica beach. We walked around the pier and got on the different rides it had to offer. The day after that, Richard took us to the Universal Studios theme park, and after spending the day there, we got to know more about him as a person. I figured out that he really was a nice man, and it really showed that he loved my mom over everything. The day after that, Richard took us to have a private tour of the Warner Brothers studios, where we got tickets to watch the Ellen show live! It was an experience like none other; I got to see Ellen in person, and got to meet Sophia Grace and Rosie in person!
After the day at the show, my mom, sister, and I spent the day at The Grove mall down in Beverly Hills, while the boys went to tour around the Staples Center, before the big Lakers game that night. My mom, sister, and I, that night, went to dine at The Ivy; a famous restaurant in Sunset where a lot of celebrities tend to dine in. But, we weren't lucky because we didn't spot any.
The day after that, my brothers and I grabbed a stars map and took the tour bus around L.A. and went to see some celebrities' houses, while my mom and her boyfriend took a day off at the SPA. We drove around the streets and saw many of the stars homes. These included: Michael Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, just outside the Playboy Mansion, and many others. It was so much fun, and while cruising around we actually saw a couple of stars jogging around their neighberhoods. Even Reese Witherspoon waved at us as we drove around.
The next day, we enjoyed the day together spending it on The Beverly Hills Mall, together as a family. We shopped, and shopped, and shopped until we dropped on the beds of our hotel suites. All in all, it was an amazing day. And funny enough, the cashier at Henry Bendel, while I was paying for a purse, asked me which celebrity I wanted to see the most. I told her Justin Bieber. And the funny thing is, she said he was there in that same store just a week ago. I kept asking her to tell me more about it.
"Well, he was walking around the store about a week ago, and he seemed a bit scrawny."
I was about to turn into rage quit mode. How come I missed him by just a week? I may not be a fan, but that doesn't mean that I shouldn't take the oportunity of seeing him in person when it's there, right?
Well, the day after shopping, was the day we were heading towards Malibu. We all woke up bright and early, and packed up all our stuff and went down to the lobby at about nine in the morning. We all walked towards the hotel's breakfast buffet and had our breakfast. After eating, my mom and her husband walked over to the front desk at the hotel to get us checked out, while we helped his driver with the bags into the car we were using to head over to Malibu. Once my mom and him left the hotel building, the my brothers, mom, and I got into the red convertible Challenger, while Richard paid the man who brought the car here and jumped inside the car.
"So, are we ready?" Richard asked while turning around in his driver's seat.
"Yeah!" My brothers and I said in excitement.
"How far is Malibu from here?" I asked.
"About an hour, not too far." Richard said.
"Well, if we're going to the beach, we need the right kind of music." My mom said, while inserting her iPod into the cable for the car.
"And looks." My sister said, as she put on her vintage Ray Ban sunglasses. I put on my white Ray Ban wayferers, and my brother put on his aviators, same as Richard. My mom already had on her sunglasses.
"Well, let's go!" Richard said as he backed away from Hollywood Boulevard and down the road, while putting my mom's music full blast on the car's speakers. The Beach Boys were blasting through the stereo playing "Barbara Ann".
As we drove down the California highway, and drove next to Santa Monica beach, I couldn't help but admire the beautifulness of the beach and the stunning views of California. The sun shone with its intensity, making this seem like the best day ever; and in a way, it was. Once we reached the Malibu billboard, I couldn't help but smile at the sun shining over the sunshine, and the privacy that existed on that beach.
Richard drove us towards his beach-front house. The stunning blue house stood upon the grass floor surrounding the house. We all helped bring down the stuff from the car, and brought it inside once Richard opened the house.
