Axel's backyard had red empty cups scattered all over the grass. There were people dancing, laughing, talking and making out in front of his house that made me think twice about coming here. The music is so loud, it could probably be heard all over the neighborhood, I wonder how long will it take for the cops to come.
Once we walked in, the scent of alcohol hit my nostrils. The scene in here is five times crazier than what's happening outside. The floor is all stinky and it smells by being covered in god knows what. People were dancing all around the house, there are some who are playing spin the bottle in the living room. I even saw one guy drop some kind of drug in a girl's cup that was so busy chatting she didn't notice.
"All this in a span of twenty minutes?" El shouted over the music, referring to Axel's now dirty house. My house to Axel's house is a ten-minute ride away, I kinda felt bad for Axel since he just went to pick us up then when he came back, his house is a mess.
But Axel shrugged as if it were nothing. "We're in highschool, what do you think El?" He shouted back.
"I think that it's time to partaaayyy!" She shouted going to the dance floor, wherever that is.
Axel sighed. "I'm gonna go check if my parent's bedroom is still...clean." He said going upstairs. "I'll find you later."
"How about your bedroom?"
"Exactly why I need to check my parents' room, so in case my room is...occupied, I might as well stay in my parents' room which is germ-free."
I nodded and went to find Elena, she couldn't have gone that far right?
"Elena!" I shouted, this time I cupped my mouth with both my hands. "Elena! Where the hell are you!" I dropped my hands and sighed. There's no way she could hear my screams compared to how loud the music is in here.
I walked into the kitchen which only had a few people in it then bumped into someone. "El! Thank god you're still in one piece." I sighed as I caught sight of her face.
She had a red cup in her hand and grinned. "Of course I'm still in one piece, why wouldn't I be?"
I pointed to the red cup in her hand and gave her a look. "What do you think? You said you'll stay sober for me in case something happens."
She looked at the red cup and shook her head. "Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that, I'm sorry Steph." She said leaving the cup on the counter. "It's just that...I feel so..." She paused, thinking of the right word to say. "Alive right now and...I don't know, just a bad case of YOLO."
I grabbed her hand and dragged her out of the kitchen. "C'mon let's find Axel."
"Hey Steph!"
I turned to my left and spotted Axel with a bunch of people in the living room, wow, that was some fast checking.
"Wanna play?" He asked.
I walked towards them with El behind me. "Depends."
"Dare or Dare." Natasha, a cheerleader, said.
I shrugged. "Sure, what the hell." I said and took a seat beside Axel on the couch with El beside me. How hard can their dares be?
Just to clarify the rules, it's simple really, it's like truth or dare, but since the people in our school finds it really boring if a person chooses truth, we decided to make it dare or dare. It's basically truth or dare but without the truth.
A person, that I do not know what her name is, spun the bottle that was on the center table, it started to slow down and it stopped, pointing at Lance, another jock, who looks like his scared out of his wits as he stared at...let's just name the unknown girl, Pinky, since she wears pink a lot judging by her dress, purse, shoes and of course her lipstick, all is left is her hair to turn pink.
