//Peter\\ sat on the bleachers of the school football field and ate his lunch alone. The sun peeked from the clouds and shined on his neck as his took a bite of the bread meat and mayo.

Peter was on took out his phone as it ringed and dropped his sandwich on his lap when he reads that in fact Harry Osborn was finnaly calling. Peter texted him everyday since he disappeared and now that he called back was a sign that he was okay and lifted a huge weight off Peters shoulders.

*hey Peter it's been a while huh?*

*Harry, hey... how's it been?*

*It's been rough honestly, but I'm better now. After all this tine I thought u would be right to let you know that I'm coming back*

*hangs up*

Without explanation Harry hung up the phone leaving Peter with a grin on his face. Peter didn't question why he hung up so quickly because he was too exited his friend was healthy and making a return to midtown. He couldn't dwell on the truth, he didn't want to know the truth.

***

It was Friday afterschool and Peters day just got better with Ned visiting him for a word and His bestfriends Harry calling Peter to in sure him about his worries and release the weight of his shoulders.

Though Peter was constantly alone he found warmth in his few friends that often tried to help him but only very few actually knew exactly what to say and what Peter needed to hear. Harry used to be all about tough love and was very blunt when giving advice.

Ned on the other hand was sort of both but wise also. He had the power to put things on different perspectives and move it around into something very meaningful and deep.

Peter sat on a park bench alone sipping on his coffee in the AM. He was listening to an audio book called 'the weight of the world'

It was series about a young woman suffering with her brothers death and her secret crush on a boy who also had a secret that preserved the weight of the world on his shoulders. It was magnificently written and the characters were one of a kind. He found the male lead extremely like himself and read over the series numerous times. So far there were only two books, he was expecting a third.

He sat there blankly watching the pond slowly freeze over. He sat there and listened every Friday,  alone. He wore a grey scarf and a thick sweater and fingerless gloves. The October air was filling up his lungs with smells of pumpkins and candy as it was getting closer to Halloween a time Peter was not looking forward to. It was the worst time of year as well as someone in the novel he truly admired.

That's why he loves it so much. The way the fiction and his nonfiction life intertwined was haunting to him, but he felt like there was a reason. He just didn't know what that reason was.
