chapter 5

Ned walked through the school doors when a brown haired guy tapped his shoulder. He was strong with a red tank top and joggers on. He wore a red line on his cheek and his left arm was covered with tattoos that coukd only be self drawn.

Considering he was still carrying his backpack he must have been new.

"Do you know where room 612b is?"

Ned took the guys schedule from his hand and it turned out they had the same next few classes.

"It looks like you've got the next four periods with me!" Ned said folding the part and handing it back to Wade.

"I'm Ned, by the way."

"Wade, Wilson"

The two sat next to eachother in class and got to know eachother before it started. Wade just moved to New York and was an orphan. He got adopted by a family with numerous orphans in there care and those old enough were put in schools all over new York so in a way that family is God's second chance for orphans.

Wade was very flirty and comical and that amused Ned. Wade was also very secretive and often Ned saw pain behind his eyes when he mentioned certain things like his parents or past friends.

Unlike Peter who opened up about his problems Wade rather hide them and use Humor to distract people from his past. Ned was very intelligent and often saw past someone's outer appearance so he noticed this rather fast.

Wade turned to see that the full class was here except one. He looked behind Ned to find an empty desk as the teacher took attendance in silence. Instead of calling names she observed the class herself.

"Who sits there?" Wade asked Ned 2ho also turned to find the seat.

Ned didn't want to tell Wade all of Peters businesses because he just met him and knows he's too secretive to trust him just yet.

"I believe he is sick, he left early yesterday." Ned lied.

Although Ned was very honest and kind. He was secretly a very good liar and manipulative.
No one really knew this because Ned never told anyone anything that would include home or past so he could sort of relate to Wade in a way.

The bell rung and the attended there next few classes before parting ways.

Walking to his next class Ned found himself alone when he heard that whiney voice call ing for him with company.

"Fucking Ned, last time wasn't fair at all." Flash started with a mocking smile.

Ned turned around and crossed his arm unimpressed.

"I thought you were tough flash. Why did you have to bring your girlfriends to protect you?"

Flashes Posey stepped up ready to fight until flash stopped them.

"I can do this myself."

Flash ran towards Ned with a fist ultimately missing. Ned took his arm and pulled it forward stabbing his knee into Flashes side and sending him to the floor without breaking a sweat. It was in one quick action as if practiced.

His 'friends' joined in and attacked Ned they got a few punches and spilled blood until Ned decided to stop playing around and took them down all at once. One kicked at him and flash caught and stabbed his elbow not there leg fracturing a bone.

Another tried to tackle him but Ned stood his ground and coddled his fist and bashed the man's back in. Another ran to him to only be thrown into the wall with all Neds force. The impact could've gave him a concussion but he was only put of breath from the blow to his back. Wade and the entire hallway watched him in shock until the principal pulled him to his office.

The look on Wades face made Ned regret fighting those men off but he couldn't let them beat him down because then they wouldn't leave Peter alone, and he couldn't let Pete get hurt.

He didn't know why but he just felt the urge to protect Peter. He couldn't wait around and watch someone as pure and kind as peter be walked over and used.
